“REPUBLICAN” SPEAKER VOWS RETRIBUTION …
Fiscally liberal S.C. Speaker of the House Jay Lucas is said to be livid over a Confederate-themed Christmas card distributed last week by S.C. Rep. Chris Corley. Sources close to the “Republican” leader tell us he took Corley’s controversial mailing as a “personal affront” and a “challenge to his leadership.”
“The Speaker was very upset,” a lawmaker close to Lucas told us. “This was sent to embarrass him – to call into question his integrity.”
In fact Corley may suffer retribution from Lucas as a result of the mailing – which accused GOP leaders of betraying their constituents during the debate to remove the Confederate flag from the grounds of the S.C. State House.
“I see a committee reassignment in his future,” the lawmaker told us.
Corley currently serves as a member of the House’s agriculture, natural resources and environmental affairs committee … although his days on that panel could be numbered.

This is what we citizens have to endure day in and day out without getting anything done in the legislature to improve the lives of average citizens. Here is the idiotic cycle….Step 1: Jay Lucas hailed as a man of integrity (aka, stick with the good old boys and turn a blind eye to the corruption all around) and given house speakership; Step 2: Jay Lucas does nothing…ignores all opportunities to expose corruption…Goldfinch gets a wink wink nod nod….no investigations…nothing…nothing at all…but the baby starts crying for sure at every opportunity. This astonishing behavior is again hailed as a sign of utmost integrity and Lucas is talked about as a candidate for supreme court based on his “exemplary” performance as speaker. Step 3: Corley’s chicken shits and he thinks it is funny…not funny boy..not funny; Step 4: The Lucas “integrity” gets hurt and his “leadership” gets questioned by a chicken shit. Where is the “integrity” in the first place Mr.Lucas, we all citizens ask. Its all made up..THAT “integrity” is all made up just to get me to be the speaker and into the supreme court. Step 5: Lucas must restore order and reclaim his integrity. Drama repeats all over again on this, that and other issues for years and years…and no one asks why didnt Lucas act as a REAL leader and with REAL integrity to end corruption in Columbia, and earn that “integrity” label, which was for the taking. So, what integrity and leadership are we talking about?? Did we all say thin skin??

Too late! I already question Jay Lucas’ integrity. He is a damn liar and has no integrity! His word to gun rights groups to bring the House version of Constitutional Carry to the floor in the waning days of the 2015 session was broken. Instead, he opted to adjourn early each day, to go play golf or something equally frivolous.
