THE SWEATER VEST IS FILING FOR SOUTH CAROLINA’S “FIRST IN THE SOUTH” PRIMARY …

|| By FITSNEWS || There’s a rumor going around that former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum is no longer paying his “First in the South” presidential staff …

Sound familiar? This is the same story that marked the “beginning of the end” of former Texas governor Rick Perry‘s campaign when it was first reported last month.

Perry ended up dropping out of the race a week ago …

Is the rumor true though?

No, Santorum’s top Palmetto State operative Jon Parker tells us.  In fact Santorum will be filing for the “First in the South” presidential ballot (and paying the $40,000 filing fee associated with that filing) this week.

The 2012 GOP presidential runner-up – who wants U.S. taxpayers to subsidize a new Holy War against radical jihadists around the globe – has been a non-factor in the 2016 election.

According to the latest aggregate polling data from Real Clear Politics, Santorum is drawing the support of just 0.8 percent of the “Republican” electorate.  That puts him ahead of only Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal (0.6 percent) and U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina (0.3 percent).

Obviously such an anemic performance for the sweater-vested fiscal liberal pleases us greatly …

Was waiting for that response from you! Do you think Walker is cooked or do you still support him?

I still support him but unless Trump implodes some way the rest of the group is pretty much over. My main worry is that Trump is too good to be true.

I agree that he is too good to be true! I am donating to his campaign and sporting one of his bumper stickers to try to keep the charade going! LOL

Later Rick. Figure the field will shrink as the following fall out, Rick, Jindal, Paul, Walker, Christie, Huckabee. Christie right after that. Making room for my favorite southern gentleman – Graham – to be on the big stage next time.

Gotta love Donald, get’s his ass kicked and comes out saying – we all did great.

I don’t think the stage will ever get that big. And besides he won’t get to use the box to stand on like the first debate. He can’t compete with the grownups. LOL

it is pretty mind blowing to me too, he is that big for the reasons you replied to in my post

the thing about donald is that he has made billions selling dreams and getting savvy investors buying into them, selling dreams to the feckless republican base is like shooting fish in a barrel to him, i give him at least a 50 50 chance to take it all the way to the nomination, never under estimate the hubris of the republican base.

Seriously?

No matter how many candidates there are, if they don’t crack 1%, they still should be included.

ALL of the GOP professional – let me run ’til I drop – presidential candidates should get the hell out.
They demean their party and they demean their country, but the money keeps them going until the next time around.

Rick’s profession is running for president. Plus, he’s got a sugar daddy, Foster Friess, to keep him bankrolled, something Rick Perry did not have. He’s not out yet. Expect him to run in 2020, 2024, 2028 ad infinitum.

No bid deal. South Carolinians are used to not getting paid very well. All the candidates know this so they cut cost in SC without it affecting their campaign. Rick will just say some silly religiously bigoted stuff and all is forgiven in SC.

Louisville kicker missed a chip shot FG.
Louisville remains winless, but Clemson was their easiest game, so far.
And Louisville was Clemson toughest game until SC.
Man the ACC SUCKS!!!
