|| By FITSNEWS || Native-born Americans lost nearly 700,000 jobs last month, while foreign-born workers added 204,000 positions – the latest data points in a disturbing post-recessionary employment trend.
Since December 2007, native-born Americans have added only 790,000 positions in the U.S. economy. Foreign-born workers, on the other hand, have added 2.1 million positions.
Those numbers come from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) – which prepares the monthly employment situation reports. Although as you’d suspect, the government isn’t exactly rushing to get the word out.

Yeah – that sounds good and it might even be true for 5-10% of the immigrants coming here today. And all 5-10% of them are legal. As for the other 90%, well not so much. According to PEW Research:
– Adult unauthorized immigrants are disproportionately likely to be poorly educated. Among unauthorized immigrants ages 25-64, 47% have less than a high school education. By contrast, only 8% of U.S. born residents ages 25-64 have not graduated from high school.
– Nearly three-in-ten (29%) have less than a ninth-grade education; an additional 18% have some high school education but have not completed high school. The proportion of unauthorized immigrants with either less than a ninth-grade education or less than a high school education is roughly double the share of legal foreign-born residents with those educational levels. It is far greater than the share of U.S.-born adults—only 2% of those ages 25-64 have less than a ninth-grade education, and only 6% have additional years in high school, but no diploma.
– Mexico is the source of by far the largest number of unauthorized immigrants, accounting for 7 million of the 11.9 million unauthorized immigrants in 2008. This 59% share has remained roughly constant over the past three decades. Other parts of Latin America send a significant share of the total, with 1.3 million (11%) coming from Central America, 775,000 (7%) from South America, and 500,000 (4%) from the Caribbean. South and East Asia is another large source, sending 1.3 million (11%), whereas the Middle East accounts for 190,000, or less than 2%.

How can you people read these stats and draw all the wrong conclusions. The reason these people come here and get jobs is that corporations and billionaires want simi-slave labor so they can make more money. They know Americans cannot afford to work for what illegals will work for. They know they can’t pay Americans below our historically low minimum wage under the table and get away with it. They want people who will come here, work for two or three dollars an hour with no benefits, and get paid under the table. They want people who will not report them because they are afraid of being deported. They want people who will do whatever illegal crap they tell them to do because they will be deported if they don’t.
We need to raise the minimum wage to its historical average on an inflation adjusted basis. We need to crack down on companies that employ illegals with heavy fines and jail terms.

Why does Zerohedge start the chart in December? Because as you can see their always a drop in January after Christmas. Why end in August? It’s before the schools start back and the Thanksgiving – Christmas seasonal hiring.
Notice on the “native-born” line that each year appears to be shaped like an “M”. The data is not seasonally adjusted and the trend through the years is upward. Hedge just picked a month that is typically a down month. There is a different trend in migrants who disproportionately work in agriculture during the summer harvest.
Again there is no adjustments for demographics. “Native-born” are older than immigrants and the boomers are retiring. If you count job gains since 2010, however, native-born have gained 6.7 million while foreign-born have gained about 3 million.
