|| By FITSNEWS || The “Republican” Party is looking for female lawmakers to lead its fight against Planned Parenthood, the government-subsidized abortion provider that’s mixed up in a scandal over the harvesting and sale of body parts from aborted fetuses.
Yeah … you read that right. The harvesting and sale of body parts from aborted fetuses.
Earlier this month the non-profit organization Center for Medical Progress released a shocking undercover video exposing the scam. In the clip, Planned Parenthood’s senior director of medical services – “Doctor” Deborah Nucatola – discussed her organization’s body part with a pair of actors posing as buyers.
“We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact,” Nucatola said in the clip.
Nucatola later noted “a lot of people want liver,” and suggested formulating a menu of available fetal organs.
Outrageous, right?
Indeed … although the administration of Barack Obama is backing Planned Parenthood to the hilt, and so far the organization has only apologized for its “tone.”
At least one former Obama staffer gets it, though.
“It should bother us as a society that we have use for aborted human organs, but not the baby that provides them,” former Obama staffer Michael Wear tweeted.
Amen to that.
Numerous congressional leaders have called for Congress to defund Planned Parenthood – and launch a probe into its body parts business.
“Abortion is bad enough … but fooling people into getting abortions then selling the harvested baby parts – there’s literally not a word strong enough to describe the depravity,” one of our readers noted.
We agree. And we would encourage Congress to do both. And for once, the “Republican” leadership appears to be moving in the direction of actually doing both.
According to The Washington Post, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa “will lead a working group tasked with developing a legislative response to the spate of recently released undercover video of Planned Parenthood executives.” Meanwhile in the U.S. House, leaders are looking toward veteran anti-abortion advocate U.S. Rep. Diane Black of Tennessee to lead the fight against the organization.
“The effort to put two women in front of the effort to defund Planned Parenthood could help Republican leaders fend off Democratic charges that they are playing fast and loose with women’s health in order to placate their party’s base,” the Post reported.
Really?
We don’t care who leads this fight. Or what its “political optics” are. The bottom line is not another damn dime of tax money ought to go to this organization … ever.
We don’t need women leaders to tell us that. Our basic humanity should have told us that a long time ago.

While i don’t run around waving Pro Choice signs i haven’t been necessarily against all abortion. I acknowledge it is lawful and really don’t see an issue for 16 weeks. That said, I think the current situation is horrific, completely devoid of even a hint of humanity and so does anyone with at least half a brain and a chicken gizzard for a heart.

I want candidates capable of conquering the feild. Optics and timing is vital to sucess. I want sucess, not just satisfaction of a good fight in a lost cause.

Waiting for a report to surface that says aborted baby organs are being cooked and eaten. This entire thing with Planned Parenthood is sadistic and totally shocking.

Having women represent this is a good idea. If men did it we would be labeled as the “war on women.” This cuts out one talking point of the liberals. This practice takes a crime against humanity and adds a gruesome point to it. Life begins at conception and ends at natural death. Nothing less.

Anyone know the difference between a Luthern and a Baptist abortion? The Luthern uses a local doctor, the Baptist goes out of state.
After all the demagogues have had their chance to exhibit their contempt for women who choose abortion, and after all the defunding hearings have failed to uncover any illegalities, I will still not be expecting any apologies for the falsehoods thrown at Planned Parenthood.
