Carly Fiorina Not Impressed By Hillary Clinton’s Big Interview

GOP CANDIDATE: FORMER SECRETARY OF STATE MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE

|| By FITSNEWS || Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina – the only woman currently seeking the “Republican” presidential nomination – was not impressed by the first stop on presumed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton‘s “glasnost” tour.

Fiorina called Clinton’s big interview with CNN “stunning … and yet completely unsurprising.”

“Hillary Clinton managed not to answer any substantive questions during that interview,” Fiorina said. “And she wasn’t even asked about her track record as Secretary of State.”

That’s true …

After months of holding the press at bay (literally), Clinton’s first real foray into the marketplace of ideas wasn’t exactly a shining moment for the candidate – or the fourth estate that’s supposed to be covering her.

According to Breitbart’s John Nolte, Clinton’s interview with CNN’s Brianna Keilar “came off as something scripted between the left-wing cable news network and the Clinton campaign.”

“Keilar asked some of the right questions but then allowed Hillary to answer them with soundbites, platitudes, and half-truths,” Nolte wrote.  “There were no follow ups, no digging into the details, and not a single question Hillary could not have expected, planned for, and rehearsed the answer for.

The whole thing, in Nolte’s opinion, was “a scripted effort at political rehabilitation, not the tense, difficult, precise, unrelenting interview it should have been.”

Fiorina is having none of that …

“If we want to win back the White House in 2016, we need a Republican nominee who won’t be afraid to hold Hillary accountable – who will ask her about Benghazi, who will ask her about her conflicts of interest while her family accepted money from countries with business before her, who will ask her why she thought a gimmicky red reset button would dissuade the ambitions of someone like Vladmir Putin,” Fiorina said.

That’s correct … at least the part about the Benghazi affair and Clinton’s foundation scandals.

Fiorina has been a consistent critic of Clinton ever since she jumped into the presidential race – and we hope she continues to bring the heat.

Clearly the media isn’t going to …

Well Carly is standing on firm ground here, consider she’s leading in the polls for the GOP Primaries and is beating Clinton head to head. I checked RealClear averages, she’s pulling 2% in the Primary battles, so she’ll get to be on the first ever GOP Debate held on C-SPAN, and she’s so low they don’t even conduct head to head polls with her. But carry on Carly. Oh, look over there, another US tech company you can drive into the ground.

The only way to fix foreign policy is to pull out of these wastelands and leave the rest of the world the fuck alone. Don’t look to the Republican party to fix foreign policy. Don’t look to the Democrat party either, but they don’t beat the drums like the GOP does.

Carly is an impressive person that talks about real issues.A STRONG person of faith. Christianity is the center of her life and politics.

That is what bothers liberals.

And she’s so strong a candidate. Remember how she beat Barbara Boxer in the Senate race? No? Because she got her head handed to her.

If in every state there were a more modest uniform shift of 3 points in the 2012 result from the Democratic ticket to the Republican ticket, Republicans would win 305 electoral votes—35 votes more than the 270 needed to lock up the election. Precisely uniform shifts among a diverse 50 states don’t happen, but 270 electoral votes certainly isn’t an impossible dream for the GOP, despite demographic changes — including the growth of the Hispanic electorate — that favor Democrats. Does the Electoral College really feature a “Big Blue Wall”? Not necessarily.

Rocky July 8, 2015 at 12:09 pm

And to do that, you have to flip Florida and Virginia and Colorado – where the percentage of Hispanic voters is 10% or higher. And you’re all screaming about how crappy Mexican Americans are. So the Blue Wall is of your own making.

Keep DREAMING wing nut. Your party are DOA in 2016. ;)

Other Republicans have weighed in on this Democratic advantage. A recent commentary in Red State, a self-described right-of-center website, suggested the problem is even worse than Will said.

“After totaling the electoral votes in all the solid blue states, it
becomes apparent that even a below average Democrat presidential
candidate could begin the race with a whopping 246 advantage,” the
author said. “No wonder President (Barack) Obama was so confident of
victory in 2012 for he knew the game was practically over before it
began.”

University of Virginia political scientist Larry Sabato said the
hurdle for Republicans doesn’t look any better if you count the
underlying votes by citizens, not just the electoral results.

“Democrats have also won the popular vote in five of the last six
presidential contests,” Sabato said. “The demographic shifts heading to
mid century are all pro-Democratic.”

I would ask Hillary how Rocky’s mother in -law is a NON citizen but was able to enroll in Obamacare? Why would the taxpayers be assisting a NON citizen obtain health insurance in this country? Why can’t she get it in the country she has her citizenship?

“Guest4455” try some of that fertilizer in your garden where it might do some good. The facts are: the average CEO in Silicon Valley lasts 4 yrs — Fiorina was head of HP for 6 yrs. Fiorina was hired from Lucent specifically to make HP competitive as they’d evolved into 80+ companies w/I a company each with separate research and marketing divisions. The necessary downsizing was done over 43 countries although the American unions would have you believe they were all jobs in the US. Californians squawk the most, but their anger should be directed at their crazy state government whose tax structure and over-regulations are driving thousands of companies away or out of business. Many, like HP, moved to Texas. Also, Fiorina’s numbers were outstanding while at HP: increasing market share, revenue, profits, innovation and ultimately employment… After the company had gotten itself in a good financial position. And, finally, the direct reason why Fiorina was fired was because someone was breaking the rule of boardroom confidentiality by talking to the press, and at the time it was thought to be Carly. It turns out, though, that the leaks continued after her departure, and the same board members who voted for her ouster are now admit their error. The current HP chair, for example, backs Fiorina up.
But, hey, given how Carly makes Hillary look like a dim-wit, I can understand why the Dems have sent out their hatchet men in force. Too bad they don’t have any facts to back them up, or Clinton accomplishments to point to.

Fiorina got FIRED for being a dismal CEO. Ask the 30,000 Americans she FIRED what they think of this proven failed REJECT they call Carly Fiorina. The only “accomplishments” Carly is known for is driving a big company into the ground, getting fired from HP, laying off 30,000 hard American workers, and LOSING her only political run in 2010 by DOUBLE DIGITS. All that said, some might put a pinkie on the scale for the GOP at this very early moment. Why? Primarily because American politics is cyclical, and our recurrent history makes an argument for turnover at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Running for a third consecutive presidential party term probably does exact a penalty on the incumbent’s party. Dan McLaughlin, writing at the conservative website The Federalist, looked at the 11 elections conducted since the end of the Civil War when there was no incumbent on the ballot and an incumbent had been reelected in the previous election (which is what we’ll have in 2016). He found that the incumbent party lost an average of 6.9 percent of the two-party vote in the next election. So, subtract 6.9 percent from Obama’s 2012 share of 52 percent, and the Republican wins the presidency quite easily—
