TRUMP DUMPED BY NETWORK
|| By FITSNEWS || We eschewed the “You’re Fired” headline every other news outlet went with, but Donald Trump – the billionaire real estate mogul, reality TV mega-star and 2016 presidential candidate – has been dumped by NBC Universal.
That means the network will no longer air the Miss USA pageant, scheduled for July 12, or the Miss Universe pageant – events NBC Universal co-owns with Trump.
What’s driving the dust-up? Controversial comments made by Trump regarding Mexican immigrants.
“At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values,” the company said in a statement. “Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump.”
Trump – who trademarked the catchphrase “You’re Fired” as part of his popular Apprentice programs – responded with characteristic defiance.
“NBC is weak, and like everybody else is trying to be politically correct – that is why our country is in serious trouble,” a release from Trump’s presidential campaign declared.
Trump also noted how NBC was hypocritical for firing him but not disgraced news anchor Brian Williams – who was busted lying about his experiences covering the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq.
“They will stand behind lying Brian Williams, but won’t stand behind people that tell it like it is, as unpleasant as that may be,” Trump said.
Pivoting back to policy, Trump is obviously hoping the high profile feud with NBC will burnish his hardline immigration credentials among GOP primary voters.
“We must have strong borders and not let illegal immigrants enter the United States,” he said. “As has been stated continuously in the press, people are pouring across our borders unabated. Public reports routinely state great amounts of crime are being committed by illegal immigrants. This must be stopped and it must be stopped now.”

Oh no, this time I think he’s going to the wall. Until the sweat drips down his ——- no he takes this all the way into a full blown independent campaign. He hates the Bush family – they had a special club and from 1988 until 2008 they wouldn’t let him join.
Trump is right. Most illegal immigrants from Mexico and Central America are typically criminals (they arrived here by criminal means), often involved in the illegal drug trade, and are not the most educated people in their country. This isn’t the case for all of them but if you could match court documents to immigration documentation then you would see that Trump is correct. Allowing them to come here illegally and then allowing them to live in the shadows creates a type of slave environment. force them all to return to their home country and apply to return under extended work visas. This will allow them to come out of the shadows as legal guests of this country. They could work toward citizenship but they must go home and apply to come back legally. We cannot reward them for breaking the law.
The long term solution is to reform legal immigration so that more people can take the legal path.

Might want to talk to Republicans about what can be afforded. Republicans would never dare send out the cheap illegal immigrant labor that thousands of companies they are in bed with rely on. If they did, those companies would have to afford paying true Americans an actual, decent wage for once. Can’t have that!

I said many not most. It is known that there is a pipeline out of Mexico and up the east coast. It takes “many” people to make that happen. It is a Mexican Cartel. If that were a reasonable option for those willing to work and not cause trouble, they wouldn’t be crossing the border in droves illegally. People don’t come here in the dark of night just for the fun of it, they come here that way because it is the only viable option open to them. That, or stay where they are and rot.

A says what he means and means what he says Republican might just surprise the establishment. I don’t see this race settling down before Dec. As these nair-do-wells run out of money the cream will rise to the top, then the ultimate choice. It’s a long time till Feb.
