TOMMY POPE GOES “KING SOLOMON” ON PALMETTO STATE GOVERNOR

|| By FITSNEWS || One of the candidates actively contemplating a gubernatorial bid in 2018 has some advice for the current occupant of the office … Nikki Haley.

His advice?  Be nice … and don’t start fights.

S.C. Rep. Tommy Pope – a “Republican” from York County – seemed to support Haley last weekend when she stepped up her war against members of the S.C. General Assembly during a speech before activists at the 2015 SCGOP convention.  Specifically, Pope told The (Columbia, S.C.) State newspaper that Haley had chosen the “right venue” to air her broadside against lawmakers.

Now he’s sending his colleagues a scriptural reference which multiple sources have confirmed to FITS is a reference to Haley.

“An unfriendly person pursues selfish ends and against all sound judgment starts quarrels,” Pope wrote in an email to every member of the S.C. House and State Senate.

That’s the New International Version (NIV) of Proverbs 18:1 … a passage of scripture attributed to King Solomon, the son of David.

Haley has been wearing out lawmakers for their support of tax hikes, borrowing and pay raises … even though she spent her first four years in office advancing a big government agenda on taxesspendingeducation and (most notably) government-subsidized health care.

And even though she’s got zero room to talk on the borrowing and pay raise fronts …

Anyway, Pope – a former solicitor – began telegraphing his gubernatorial aspirations last spring.  Also said to be mulling 2018 bids?  U.S. Reps. Mick Mulvaney and Mark Sanford (who served as governor from 2003-11), former S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) director Catherine Templeton and State Senator Tom Davis.

Now he’s sending his colleagues a scriptural reference which multiple sources have confirmed to FITS is a reference to Haley.

So he stands with Haley at the convention and to the media…and then sends an email to house and senate members allegedly attacking her but doesn’t mention her by name but anonymous sources told Fits it was directed toward her?

Sure.

FITS’ “anonymous sources” are his bathroom mirror.

Nikki Haley needs to seek God about as badly as you do, and that is very very badly.

All biblical quotes used for political and other purposes of the like should come from the King James Version. It sounds much more well biblical.

KJV – Proverbs 18:1 Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.

Wasn’t the KJV the one that Jesus used?

We had carpetbaggers during Reconstruction. We don’t want one now.

Time to step out of the 1870’s, unless the idea of Red Shirts running around appeals to you.

Perhaps the carpetbaggers like Davis can educate us poor dumb Southerners to be just like Baltimore, Detroit, etc.

Well coming from someone whose family was a part of the Red Shirts, sounds good to me!

If you consider Tom Pope a Carpetbagger, what the HELL would Haley be?

You call her a magic carpetbagger.

I think this dumbass is referring to Tom Davis. You have to forgive him, he was a teen during Reconstruction, so his mind is long gone. If you don’t live on his property, you are a damn carpetbagger telling him how to live his life. He is the one with the sign that reads, “U.S. Government: Keep your hands off my Medicare. And stay off my lawn.”

A SIKH carpetbagger.

I was referring to Davis not Pope.

Pope would win by default over that proffered bunch.

The Governess is beginning to act like this guy —
——————-

Thirty years ago this guy murdered his wife and children. He then stabbed to death her parents, his parents and all their friends. It was an episode in his life that he regrets terribly, now. He gets released tomorrow and there’s no-one to pick him up.

Haley just trying to posture herself to be picked-up as a VP nominee. Remember it’s all about politics.

I guess all those tears she shed in India have dried up. But for once, she’s right. State government is bloated and corrupt. Problem is, she has no intention of actually doing anything about it.

Do not bother to quote the Bible to someone who praises Allah. Do your Sikh research.
