LET’S HOPE IT’S NOT “DOUBLE ENTENDRE” DAY …
|| By FITSNEWS || There’s an interesting story out this week from reporter Alex Isenstadt of Politico … one which explains (much as we did last October) the real reason U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham is running for president.
Isenstadt’s piece notes that Graham has been blistering recently announced presidential candidate Rand Paul “repeatedly and by name, casting him as weak-kneed and unwilling to protect the country from aggressors.”
Really? Last time we checked Paul was moving at breakneck speed toward Graham’s “perpetual warfare” position … which is unfortunate considering the doctrine has been a demonstrable failure.
Anyway, Isenstadt delves into the details of the not-so-curiously well-funded anti-Rand campaign – quoting a Graham operative as saying his candidate wants to “put wood” on Paul.
Whoa …
“Wood?”
Sounds to us like, um, a possible “extension” of Graham’s recent comments about how “white men in male-only clubs” were going to do well in his presidency.

Of course Graham (cough) insists he “ain’t gay.”
Frankly we don’t care if Graham is gay or (as his advisors vigorously assert) isn’t gay. We’re far more concerned with his efforts to play both sides of multiple foreign policy debates. And to do so with blood and treasure that’s not his … and that America cannot afford to expend.
We’re also concerned that the pressure Graham and his fellow “neoconservatives” are effectively applying is forcing Paul to kowtow to this failed approach.
None of it matters, obviously … as Graham has made it clear what will happen if Paul and other members of Congress don’t get on board with his warmongering.

Everyone else is campaigning hard on social issues. While Graham may have strong military ideas, which I don’t entirely agree with, I find that more tolerable than some of the others. I also don’t think he would be able to get the funding to do everything he might like with military.

I am hit with viruses repeatedly – my email has been hacked, I am signed up for some damn dating site, I am on some workout plan that I get notification daily – once to tell me the time and location, another to let me know it has been canceled.

I don’t blame you. There’s a demon in every woodpile these days. The worst of these is the pre-pubescent hacker with unlimited time and resources. Their skill increases by leaps and bounds fueled by world class obsession born of the sociopathic thrill to hurt.
I’ve picked viruses out of my registry, and out of the Master Boot Record by hand… marvelled at the wasted creativity in their little engines of mayhem… it made me feel, at least, like I understood their blind depravity, and the massive gravity emanating from their empty souls.
The sociopaths who visit these political sites have the same origins, but none of the skills. They simply foment for its own sake, imagining that someone thinks its funny, or imagines them to be forceful and interesting… never occurring to them for a moment how very primitive and mentally impoverished their messages reveal them to be.

The only reason Graham is running is for the money he can take out of his related campaign funds for his own use. These PAC campaign funding front organizations are nothing more than ways to funnel bribes to government officials. Steven Colbert showed last election how they worked. All leftover funds not used can simply be transferred to the candidate. It’s the worse outrage of money on politics. Colbert just donated all his money to Veterans Organizations. I seriously doubt that is what Graham is planning to do with the millions of dollars that he will take in and not use in his fake Presidential campaign.
