PREPARE FOR THE NEXT “MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE”

|| By FITSNEWS ||  We’re pretty sure Tom Cruise worships alien life forms … and it goes without saying what we think of the American spy state.  Having said that, the Mission: Impossible movies (in which Cruise stars as global spymaster Ethan Hunt) are simply too good to pass up …

The last Mission: Impossible film – dubbed Ghost Protocol – featured Cruise scaling the outside of the 2,723-foot tall Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai, UAE.

And as this video attests, he did his own stunts … with spellbinding results.

A little over three years later, Cruise and company are back – with Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (a.k.a. Mission: Impossible 5).  The movie – slated for a July 31, 2015 release – also stars drop dead gorgeous Swedish actress Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust, Hunt’s love interest/ fellow spy.

And yes, Ferguson did most of her own stunts, too – including a 120-foot solo free fall (which she shot ten times to get just right).

Impressive …

Rogue Nation is the story of Hunt and his fictitious Impossible Missions Force (IMF) team battling an evil agency dubbed “The Syndicate.”  Good.  Evil.  Twists.  Turns.  Yeah … we can’t wait.

The movie will be directed by Christopher McQuarrie – who wrote The Usual Suspects and who has worked with Cruise on movies like Valkyrie and Edge of Tomorrow.

This $2 billion film franchise soared with Ghost Protocol (which scored a 93 percent “fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes).  Can Rogue Nation top it?

That remains to be seen, but the trailer (released this week) is certainly encouraging …

Tom Cruise has to be the biggest flake in Hollyweird and that’s saying something.

Can’t wait to see this new babe! “Usual Suspects” was one of my all-time favorite movies. No Cruise effort has even been close. “Salt” is another goodie. The ending is spectacular.
I remember when a Chicago critic said “Terminator” was the best movie ever made Ha! Ha! Hey, maybe he was right!
