… AND WITHDRAWAL FROM PRESIDENTIAL RACE

|| By FITSNEWS || A national advocacy group is calling on U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham to resign in the aftermath of his suggestion that the “first thing” he would do if elected president would be to use military force against the U.S. Congress if it failed to bend to his will.

Graham, who is mounting a long-shot campaign for the Oval Office, told a New Hampshire “Republican” audience that he would use troops on members of the U.S. Congress if they failed to restore funding for the Department of Defense and the U.S. spy state.

“Here is the first thing I would do if I were President of the United States, I wouldn’t let Congress leave town until we fix this,” Graham said. “I would literally use the military to keep them in if I had to.  We’re not leaving town until we restore these defense cuts.  We’re not leaving town until we restore the intel cuts.”

Wow …

“Senator Graham’s statement … is the most troubling statement uttered by a supposedly serious candidate for President in my memory,” Americans for Limited Government (ALG) president Rick Manning said.

“The very fact that Graham has the imagery of Abrams M1A tanks surrounding the Capitol building to force Congress to do his or their bidding is so far removed from any Constitutional framework, that Graham should not only withdraw from the Presidential race, but should immediately resign from the Senate,” Manning continued. “There literally is no place in our elective government for someone who advocates a military solution against those elected to do the will of the people when he doesn’t get his way.  The same Congress that expresses concern about President (Barack) Obama’s seemingly daily abuse of power should immediately move to censure the senior Senator from South Carolina and the people of that state should demand his immediate removal from office.”

Absolutely …

Obviously there is no defense shortfall (Graham’s lying about that) but we’re glad someone else sees his comments in the same light as us …

“Graham’s statement isn’t just wrong. It isn’t just inane. It isn’t just reckless. It isn’t just dangerous. It’s more than that … it’s downright treasonous,” we wrote earlier this week.  “And you better believe every ‘Republican’ in America would say so … assuming those words came out of Obama’s mouth.”

FITS has been – and will continue to be – one of Graham’s most vocal critics, relentlessly calling him out for his anti-free market, anti-freedom positions.  As we’ve previously exposed, he is a special interest whorefiscal liberalObama abettorneo-fascistfriend of terroriststhief of your libertyfraud and hypocrite.

Guess we can add “wanna-be dictator” to that list …

Ah. No doubt there are some wheels turning in her head, now that she’s wooing the limited government crowd and they are calling for Lindsey to step down. She could run for POTUS or VPOTUS, then as a sitting Senator.

Never happen. If anything, she wants a department head position, possibly a cabinet seat and I’m not even sure her ego (big as it is) pushes her that far.

You know how that reads, don’t you? It’s like this: If I gave you an orange, I’d simply say, “I give you this orange.”
———
But when the transaction is entrusted to a lawyer he puts down :

“I hereby give and convey to you all and singular, my estate and interest, rights, title, claim and advantages of and in said orange, together with all its rind, juice, pulp and pits and all rights and
advantages with full power to bite, cut and otherwise eat the same, or give the same away with and without the rind, juice, pulp and pits, anything herein before or herein after or in any other deed, or deeds, instruments of whatever nature or kind whatsoever to the contrary in anywise notwithstanding.”

You forgot to define “I” as the aforementioned and hereinafter referred to as the Grantor and “you” as the aforementioned and hereinafter referred to as the Grantee.
Also to be binding their must be compensation. It may be $5.00 love and affection or an arms length agreement.

A guy was explaining to me why it is confusing to discuss
his financial situation with politicians. “I used to think I was poor. Then they told me I wasn’t poor, I was needy.
Then they told me it was self-defeating to think of myself as needy. I was deprived. Then they told me that underprivileged was overused. I was disadvantaged. I still don’t have a dime. But I have a great vocabulary.”

The National Poetry Contest had come down to semi-finals between a Yale graduate and a redneck from Alabama. They were both given a word, then allowed two
minutes to study the word and come up with a poem that contained the word. The word they were given was “Timbuktu”

First to recite his poem was the Yale graduate. He confidently stepped to the microphone and said:

“Slowly across the desert sand
Trekked a lonely caravan
Men on camels, two by two
Destination: Timbuktu.”

The crowd went crazy. No way could the redneck top this, they thought.

The redneck, with sweat rolled down his face, made his way to the microphone and said:

“A friend and I a hunting went,
We spied three maidens in a tent,
They being three, we being two,
I bucked one and Tim bucked two.”

The redneck went to the finals.

Leona had two claims to fame. She could tell fortunes and she was a midget.

The local authorities frowned on her because they thought that fortune telling was fraudulent.

They had Leona arrested and placed in a holding cell. Since she was so small she was able to squeeze between the bars of her cell and escape.

This so incensed the judge that he ordered the local newspaper to print an article about the culprit.

The following was printed in the paper the next day:

“SMALL MEDIUM AT LARGE”

Three guys are on their lunch break, talking about their wives. Two of them are bragging how they’re the “man
of the house” while the third remains silent.

After a while, one of the guys says to the third fellow, “You’ve been pretty quiet, pal. What’s the matter,
does your wife boss you around?”

The third guy says, “Let me tell you guys something. Just the other night, my wife came to me crawling on her hands and knees.”

The first two guys look at him astonishingly and one says, “What was the reason for that?”

“She said, ‘Get out from under that bed and fight like a man you little weasel.”

There was once a young man who, in his youth, professed his desire to become a great writer.

When asked to define “great” he said, “I want to write stuff
that the whole world will read, stuff that people will react to on a truly emotional level, stuff that will make them scream, cry, howl in pain and anger!”

He now works for Microsoft, writing error messages.

We really shouldn’t make jokes about health related
issues. My daughter recently suffered through a terrible time. First off she got tonsillitis, followed by appendicitis and then pneumonia. After that she got rheumatism, and to top it off they gave her hypodermics and inoculations. I thought she never would get through that spelling bee!

Sam Kemp had invited Tom Bronson, a new business associate from Arizona, to spend the weekend at his country estate. At the airport to fly home, Bronson was
thanking Kemp for being such a good host.

“My room was great. The food was terrific. The fishing and horseback riding were fun. And, more than anything else thanks for letting me sleep with your wife. She was terrific and the best I ever had!”

Boarding was announced. Kemp waved goodbye and left. A stranger walked over to Bronson and said, “Pardon me, but did I just hear you thank that man for letting you sleep with his wife? And that she was terrific and the best you ever had?”

Bronson said, “She really wasn’t, but Sam Kemp’s such a nice guy!”

Shades of ol’ Olin D Johnson, and the SC National Guard with machine guns on the steps of the state house in the mid-1930s. And he lost the ability to name the Highway Commisssioners… Hmmmmmm. Maybe that’s where the problem starts.

Jeopardy answer: A disease that infects those in politics, media and advocacy groups with an exaggerated opinion of their own importance and an inability to diagnose it in others. i.e. Graham, Folks and Manning.

Answer in the form of a question please.

From the picture it looks like Lindsay is wearing a Polartec “wooly bear”
You can tell what time someone was over there by what they wore. We wore the “wooly bear” insted of a jacket during the winter of 2003-2004.
it is warm as hell UNTIl the wind kicks up and then the wind cuts right through it. i was/is designed as the inner lining for the military Gore-Tex parka (desert tri-color during that time and is perfect for that use. Everyone just wore the “wooly bear” and no body fucked with us for doing so. later on when it appeared we were winning the uniform nazis were deployed and put a stop to doing that.
I still have mine.

No one should be concerned with Graham leaving the Presidential race. He will be removed in due time. As far as a resignation from the Senate is concerned, you can forget about it. He just won re-election by a wide margin. There wasn’t even a runoff when he was faced by a large group of challengers in the primary. The republican voters in SC love Graham. There is a loud, but minor group, within the republican voting block that disparages him, but they are insignificant.

Bite Me March 13, 2015 at 8:20 am

The people, Democrats and Republicans, who plan to run against him next time need to start the “It’s time for Lindsey to Get Back to Seneca” website now, posting every bit of craziness as it spills from his mouth.
He needs to be Howard Dean-ed on a weekly basis starting now and for the next six years. There’s a lot more material to gather from Lindsey than Howard Dean and his yeee-haaaw and it needs to be put to good use.
