“ONCE OBAMA ISSUES WORK PERMITS, CONGRESS WON’T BE ABLE TO GET THEM BACK”

By ROBERT ROMANO || Now that the more than $1 trillion omnibus legislation has been passed by the House, all eyes turn toward the Obama’s executive action to grant amnesty to 4.5 million illegal immigrants with U.S.-born children.

On December 9, hours before the omnibus bill was introduced, syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer predicted the issue would be“resolved with the obvious expedient of funding the government through next year, except for a more short-term extension for homeland security. That way, defunding the executive order could be targeted to just the issue at hand, namely immigration, and would occur when the GOP holds the high ground – control of both houses of Congress.”

Hours later, Krauthammer was proven correct.  The omnibus includes a full year’s funding for everything except those departments and agencies that will be responsible for implementing Obama’s amnesty – which will only be funded through February 27.

While Americans for Limited Government would prefer that the continuing resolution be for an even shorter term, presumably the window would provide enough time for the incoming 114th Congress the opportunity to deal with the issue.

A primary concern of those opposed to the amnesty is that once Obama issues millions of work permits, it will be impossible for Congress to get them back. Meaning, barring action right now, early next year may be the only other window of opportunity for Congress to rein in this executive action.

That said, the likelihood remains high that whatever temporary work permits are granted by the Obama administration, recipients will overstay them anyway. Why?

How did Barry get a ‘work permit’? Proud of the pubs last night. While socialists Pelosi and Warren were trying to shut the government down and hold America hostage, they remained focused on saving America from massive illegal immigration.

Most of these illegals will end up on the ‘expanded ‘ Medicaid rolls-while the money for the government reimbursement for docs ends next month.

It would bankrupt these states.

While socialists Pelosi and Warren were trying to shut the government down and hold America hostage

Yeah, only Republicans are allowed to do that!

Agreed. It would be wonderful, but too many Americans have been duped into believing they will prosper under a plutocracy.

Tom December 12, 2014 at 10:30 am

You are wasting your breath, he doesn’t know what a plutocracy is.

pogo2 December 12, 2014 at 10:57 am

All work permits would be illegal and worthless. Obama has got to be thrown in prison. We should no longer be allowing this lawless rogue reckless disregard for the rule of law administration AND CONGRESS to spit on us, shit on our rights, and wipe their butts with out Constitution. Do allow them to continue makes us all a bunch of pussy assess. So are you a pussy ass, or a fighter and defender of YOUR rights? Or do you enjoy bending over and getting it up your rear?

When are people going to figure out that establishment Republicans and establishment Democrats both want the same things? It is nothing but a rig to give the allusion of a choice, similar to the WWE business model. This Bill is nothing to happy about for either side and certainly lacking to the more middle of the road folks.

The bill accomplished two important things for Republicans. It gets money to our Wall Street allies, and allows our contributors to give us more money.

And it funds Obamacare through to Open Enrollment 2015 – ensuring it remains in place forever. Thank you Johnny and Mitch.

ACA INCREASE IN REIMBURSEMENT FOR PRIMARY CARE SERVICES ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2014
Section 1202 of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) required a temporary increase in Medicaid payments for qualifying primary care services provided by qualifying physicians for dates of service (DOS) in calendar years (CYs) 2013 and 2014. The federally funded, temporary rate increase was authorized only for these two calendar years. This temporary increase will end December 31, 2014, and the Medicaid rate structure will return to its preexisting levels for DOS on or after January 1, 2015.

Uh oh!!! Not in this bill. No money docs for ‘exanded’ Medicaid/ reimbursement in the states that were foolish enough to do it.

No good to have insurance if the physician’s won’t accept it and they won’t since they won’t be paid.

Pubs don’t need to do anything. Obamacare is collapsing on its own!

I never said they don’t get paid. It says the re-imbursement levels return to the pre-existing levels. So by and large, most doctors will continue to accept it. Also, if you didn’t know, Medicaid is actually an insurance policy through a private insurance company – you usually have two or three to chose from. So you change your provider under Medicaid, and viola – you have a doctor. Probably the same one.

pogo2 December 12, 2014 at 12:19 pm

Horseshit.NOBODY is accepting these NEW patients on the ‘expanded’ Medicaid in states. Better have ‘commercial’ insurance or you won’t be seen.

So Medicaid has signed up millions yet they don’t have a physician. Only an idiot like you would think that is success.

Rocky December 12, 2014 at 1:44 pm

I know a retired legal resident alien who is over 70 years old, has coverage through Medicare, just got it last year with the help of a navigator – and they have a doctor, a dentist, an eye doctor. And one doctor said they were limiting new patients, and another doctor (my doctor as a matter of fact) increased the number of patients he would accept. Pogo2 – really, you need to get your head out of your Fox. Cavuto isn’t always right. But he likes you watching so he can keep that nice big mansion in Mendham.

Rocky December 12, 2014 at 1:47 pm

NOBODY. NOBODY except maybe somebody – somebody like – other doctors who want the business and want to help patients. NOBODY. Like – NOBODY is going to use Medicare when that came out. NOBODY is gonna benefit from Social Security when that came out. NOBODY is going to get a job after Stimulus (unemployment at 5.8%). NOBODY is gonna get tortured. NOBODY, NOBODY –
Hey, know who reports facts at Fox? NOBODY.

Thomas December 12, 2014 at 3:12 pm

In all fairness, Fox is a fact free zone. Republicans hate facts. Facts can’t be trusted. They are generally biased against Republicans.

Rocky December 12, 2014 at 10:41 am

Last night the GOP Congress voted with the help of the Democrats to fully fund Obamacare through to Open Enrollment 2015. What makes anyone think, in their most bizarre dreams, that the Establishment Consultant Class RINOs are going to anything to stop the Executive Order, other than, present the Senate with a mirror image of the previous Senate reform bill, call it the McConnell Boehner Immigration Reform Act of 2015, provide amnesty for all illegal immigrants, and send it to Obama for his signature. That is what will happen in the Spring. They’ll get the legislation ready, determine the costs, add those to the Homeland Security funding follow-up, pass the funding in February and the Amnesty in March, and it gets signed for Easter. You Conserantives are so fooled. You’ve been played and you don’t even know it.

LMAO!!! Better call comrade Warren. Obamacare will collapse on its own-with the help of the elimination of employer/individual mandate and SCOTUS.

Majority of new enrollments are on Medicaid and the ‘expansion’ failed.

Amnesty? Call it what you want. They will work, pay taxes and NEVER vote or have citizenship!!! LMAO!!!!

Is that the new mantra – will collapse on it’s own. The last dying gasp of anti-Obamacare. Like the losing Repubs said about Social Security and Medicare? It’s the rumble grumble as you retreat into the rubble. You’ll know when you’re almost done, because you’ll just keep mumbling it “it’s gonna collapse on it’s own, you’ll see” while looking down at your feet and shuffling in the dirt.
You been played by the Mitchy / Johnny playa’s. You been played by da best. Oh, and you can bet, Johnny and Mitchy gonna include a pathway to citizenship. Cause if you can’t win their votes, what’s the point.

You can’t make this stuff up!!!
