In case you needed additional proof that the internet is the greatest thing ever to happen to civilization along comes “Prancercise,” an aerobic technique created by Joanna Rohrback of Coral Springs, Florida.
We missed Prancercise when it went viral earlier this summer, but that’s okay … our Gangnam Number is 275,200,682 (i.e. we were the 275,200,682nd viewer of Korean pop star PSY’s billion-plus YouTube hit “Oppan Gangnam Style”). So there.
We’re sort of on the cusp of pop culture …
Anyway, according to its creator Prancercise is a “springy,rhythmic way of moving forward, similar to a horse’s gait,” one which is “ideally induced by elation.” Prancercisers “imagine ourselves as a beautiful animal that’s a symbol of beauty, strength and endurance while we’re exercising in order to free our minds of any self image that may be less appealing.”
What the hell?

I saw this on the Today show about a month ago. And since they aired it, it must have been about 2-3 months old already.
I’ve heard there are some videos of cats on the internets doing funny things, too. No breaking stories on that?
