That’s fine for a “sport” like the NBA

Why is that “fine” for basketball? Because you don’t watch it?

I would like to see two versions of all the popular sports- one with performance-enhancing steroids/drugs/hormones and one without. Let the market decide which is more interesting, profitable, etc. Sure, both would have their pros and cons, but it would be better than the illusion of a strict drug policy that lets cheaters prosper.

Wow…a rare occasion when we are in total agreement. Baseball has been undermined by the relentless pursuit of more and more money. MLB certainly wasn’t complaining during the marketing campaigns for the Sosa – McGwire HR competition. Remember the “Chicks Love the Long Ball” ads? Both efforts were during the height of steroid abuse. Now MLB cares?
