Agriculture Needs a Farmer’s Voice
Agreed, and last time I looked, Simpson was a farmer – who also happens to have experience in managing government agencies, like the USDA Farm Service Agency. We’re not hiring a “chief farmer” Danny Boy, we’re hiring a manager of the state’s agricultural agency, charged with managing 250 employees responsible for promoting agribusiness, ensuring food safety, and inspecting restaurants, cafeterias, and other food-service operations statewide.
So other than your daddy’s name, what else you got?
