Erin I would suggest you outkicked your coverage here. This game is hardly historic and clash is a bit of stretch. With Clemson sitting on 14 .5 point spread that is being too kind to the ‘heels. Tigers have bottomed out in the minds of many and are looking to make a statement that cannot be made. D**o Sw***y and Bill Belichick in the same sentence is dang near sacrilege to purists of the sport. Dabo is going to put on that curled grin of his lips after beating Belichick. He doesn’t get that privilege.
He’s not paying the New England Patriots with Belichick and Brady but he’s going to act like it. The flip side is it could be a signature win for the Tarheels. Young men are signing up from across the land just to play for Belichick, even if it’s to sit the bench. Belichick is playing the long game and the Tarheel money is deep and going to keep flowing to keep him there.
