Former United States president Donald Trump is headed back to the White House after scoring a decisive victory over vice president Kamala Harris in one of the most bitterly contested political races in American history.
Although some mainstream media outlets had yet to call the race, as of 3:00 a.m. EST on Wednesday morning Trump and his vice presidential nominee JD Vance were poised to prevail in all seven battleground states – Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Those victories would give him a whopping 312 electoral votes – well above the 270 required to win.
As for Harris, she and her running mate Tim Walz are projected to finish the race with 226 electoral votes.

Trump lost six of those seven swing states to outgoing president Joe Biden, his original opponent in the race before a Democrat coup installed Harris. This year, Trump was on track to win the majority of those states by bigger margins than he did in 2016.
Not bad for a guy Democrats’ branded as an “existential threat to democracy.”
Trump was also on track to became the first Republican in twenty years to prevail in the nation’s popular vote. As of 3:00 a.m. EDT, he had amassed 68.8 million votes to Harris’ 63.7 million votes.
That’s a mandate, people.
Assuming Trump’s battleground totals remain “too big to rig,” he will become only the second American president to serve non-consecutive terms in office. Democrat Grover Cleveland was the first – serving as president from 1885 to 1889 and again from 1893 to 1897.
Count on this media outlet to provide our audience with plenty of updates and analysis on Trump’s historic victory over Harris… which was accompanied by Republicans seizing control of the U.S. Senate.

Admittedly, at least there is “a chance” that things will get better, now. I hope they do! Kamala had said she wouldn’t do anything differently than Biden did, meaning this shitty economy would have been here to stay.
I still remember the time between January, 2017 and January, 2021; when Trump seemed to constantly be tripping on his own shoelaces, surrounding himself exclusively with Swamp and Deep State characters, and more.
I hope this optimism is justified and things drastically improve over the next four.
The pendulum swings back for now. People will forget, get away from God, and in time the pendulum will swing back the other way. It’s a never ending cycle.
Trump cannot unite the country and does not want to. His power rose from division and hate and that will be the fuel of its flame until it runs out, if it ever does. We will be more divided and polarized than ever.

Pray for the people of the United States, who by our own hands will now live with our first authoritarian President; our founder’s greatest fear;
Pray for the children of Ukraine, who are now doomed to living under the boot of a murderous war criminal.
Pray for the people of Europe who must now prepare to face an evil empire alone, as America abandons its moral authority in the world and its allies.
Pray for the people of Taiwan, who are now assuredly to fall under the boot of Xi.
Pray for Christ’s church, which has surely been led astray by the most un-Christian man to ever hold the office of President of the United States; as it turns its back on the teachings of Christ and adopts the teachings of its new Messiah.

Even after the attacks of 9/11 the Democrats could only constrain themselves for about one year before they went right back on the attack against Bush trying to take him down in any and every way possible. We have been in very close presidential elections every cycle except for Obama’s first election, and in his following midterms Congressional Democrats took the worst shellacking in 50 years. Do you not realize that in 2024 Trump has increased his voting share in EVERY tracked ethnic and racial minority division from both his 2016 and 2020 performance? He has the highest percentage of Hispanic votes of any republican in history. Your characterization of “hatred” is pure, steaming tripe. The simple fact of the matter, which you self-righteous leftists and globalists cannot seem to understand, is that Trump just won an electoral landslide AND a 5+ million popular vote win despite the fact that the entire country has heard and seen what the lawfare and mainstream media has been hitting him with like artillery for 8 years, along with two assasination attempts – by people aligned with your side. The large majority of the Nation’s people saw through all the bullshit propaganda and elected him in the clearest mandate of the last 30 years.
As for Ukraine, the war will be over by the end of February – you watch. They will probably have to lose some territory -consisting of some peripheral areas populated by majority Russian speaking populations, but the meat grinder of an entire generation of Ukranian and Russian young men will end. I assure that aligns with the kingdom of God.
As for Europe, since the beginning of the Marshall plan after the end of WWII to the present day we have probably given or covered the costs of defense and infrastructure of Europe to the tune of 5 Trillion dollars. It’s time they start handling their own affairs. We are broke and can’t afford it anymore, and they have not kept up their end of the bargain for 40+ years.
As for Tiawan, you are probably correct – they will come under the oppression of the communist Chinese, who have been strengthened and empowered by both Democrat and Republican administrations for 50 years to expand at the cost of American jobs and interests. So we did that ourselves, as a nation. That is not Trump’s fault.
Biden won by more votes over Trump than Trump won over Harris but Trump supporters said there was no mandate and fought him at every turn. I stand by my assessment that Trump is by far the least Christian man to ever hold the office of President. I stand by my assessment that the Trump campaign was built on hate and anger and that will not subside. It will grow as he seeks to impose his will on the American people, whether they like it or not.
I do not consider myself a globalist or a Democrat. I am a Christian, and I speak what my faith tells me, and my faith tells me our nation will be led by a man who is not of God and who will lead us to support evil in the world. For some reason, MAGA “Christians” pray for God to bless our country, but they don’t want our country to do good in the world or follow the teachings of Christ when it comes to our neighbors. That is why I pray for God to open the eyes of his Church.
As for the other nations I pray for, I expect nothing from the US. I asked God to help them. I know that without our help Russia will likely destroy Ukraine and kill hundreds of thousands of innocent Ukrainians. I fear for the life of the innocent and those Christian organizations working there to end the suffering. Putin wants Ukraine’s natural resources and their people for his armies. He plans to annex them into Russia. He is a war criminal, and Trump will do nothing to stop him. Putin plans to kill anyone who gets in his way. So I pray for help from God. The same with Taiwan, where I have friends and know many good people. The same with the people of Eastern Europe, where Putin wants to reestablish the Russian Empire.

Mark, how did Harris lose 21,000,000 votes? She’s at 60 million, Biden had 81 million in 2020. That’s like losing every vote in Florida.

What would you like to hear from us? We spoke when we hoped our voices would make a difference. Now they cannot. Our warnings fell on deaf ears. Yes, he won, you are free to gloat. You got what you wanted. No one can say what our country will be when his time in power ends. But I am confident we will not be better for it. We will be more like Russia and Hungary, with fewer freedoms, less freedom of speech, a press afraid to report, powerful oligarchs making most of the decisions, people afraid of their government, a degradation of our Constitutional rights, and few friends in the world (other than perhaps Trump’s buddies, Putin, Orban, and Kim Jong Un).
Four years from now, I am certain many of us will be profoundly ashamed of what our nation will have done to powerless people, how we will have refused to stand up to tyrants around the world, how we will have abandoned our allies, and how we will have abandoned the principles I believe made us great. But most of you will not care about any of that.
Maybe America will survive as a modern democracy, or maybe we will become something more akin to modern Russia, where crony capitalists like Trump and Elon run the nation. Only time will tell. I do know we are in for four years of hate, anger, and division because those are Trump’s lifeblood. I love my country or, at least what I grew up believing America was and could be. But I admit that is not matching up to reality right now. But as a South Carolinian, while I breathe I hope.
If I could ask Biden to do anything during his last days in power it would be to arm all of our NATO allies with nukes, so that they could defend themselves when we inevitably abandon them or turn on them.
Still never voted for Trump (wrote my wife’s name in like I do any time there isn’t a candidate I support). I was just wondering what happened to all you sure of your self Kamala supporters went.
As bad as the Dems claim Trump might be (and they’re hyperbolic at best) Kamala would have been worse because she’s stupid and would have been controlled by the party for the sake of the party. Socialism always fails.
I will have to disagree on the hyperbole. I never said anything that did not come directly from Trump’s mouth. The sad part is I believe him, but so many of his supporters do not. Why is beyond me. When a man tells you he wants to be a dictator, that he plans to imprison or kill his political opponents, or he will suspend the constitution to achieve his goals, believe him.

Squishy123, maybe she means literally, or maybe she is just distraught and frightened; but she has every right to fear many Trump supporters. There is a large contingent of white nationalists in the MAGA movement, and they feel very empowered right now. We also know Trump empathizes with that element and has said if necessary he will use the military against citizens who oppose his will. It is impossible for black people not to see shades of Selma, Alabama in the 1960s in those words.
What I think I could fairly say to black people, brown people, religious minorities, and gay people is a Trump Government will do nothing to protect you from overt racism and discrimination. Those days are over for now. Minorities and gay people must do the best they can to protect themselves until times are better.
