Man Dies After Driving Himself To Hospital With Gunshot Wounds

Columbia Police investigators need the public’s help in identifying the suspect …

Investigators with Columbia Police Department are asking the public for information about the fatal shooting of a man who drove himself to the hospital while injured from gunshot wounds.

According to the release, the 37-year-old man, whose identity has not been revealed, drove himself to Prisma Health Richland while suffering from wounds to the lower body. Despite life-saving measures, the hospital staff was unable to save the man’s life.

Officers responded to 3301 Harden St. extension shortly after 530 p.m. June 15th, after learning the man had driven himself to the hospital.
