Mark Sanford Ditches Consultant … Over Infidelity?

Don’t climb into a foxhole with this congressman …

Talk about the pot meeting the kettle …

Congressman Mark Sanford – the guy who spent tax dollars furthering an extramarital affair (and then lied about it to the people of his state) – has parted ways with his longtime political consultant, Jason Miller.

Wait … Jason Miller …

Why is that name ringing a bell?

Oh … right.

He’s the “Trump campaign love child” guy … which apparently disqualifies him from serving alongside the guy who made “hiking the Appalachian Trail” a euphemism for cheating on one’s spouse.

According to The (Charleston, S.C.) Post and Courier, Sanford referred to Miller as “a very able and talented campaign expert” – but he’s not going to be using him again.

Sheesh … don’t climb in a foxhole with this guy, right?

(For any number of reasons, apparently).

Sanford – who dramatically underperformed expectations in last year’s “Republican” primary election – is facing a credible challenge next spring from freshman state representative Katie Arrington of Summerville, S.C.

“It’s a shame Mark isn’t as forgiving of others as he expects others to be of him,” Arrington told us in response to the Post and Courier report.

Tssssss … burn!

Between Arrington and hard-hitting gubernatorial candidate Catherine Templeton of Mount Pleasant, the Lowcountry has a pair of (dare we say it) bad ass bitches seeking elected office in 2018.

Both happen to be running against some whiny little girls, too, so it should make for plenty of good copy for us!
