Programming Note: Summer Vacation

Posting was light last week (and will continue to be light again this week) as our founding editor Will Folks vacations with his family along the South Carolina coast.

In previous years we would shut the website down completely during this two-week stretch, but that’s become infeasible.

There’s just too much going on these days (and not enough people watching out for the greater good).  Accordingly we will be updating the site as time permits while chasing kids all over the beach and doing our part to promote the Palmetto State’s tourism economy.

Our founding editor returns to the saddle full-time this coming Sunday – June 25.  That’s three days before he is scheduled to appear in a Lexington County, S.C. court in connection with this matter.

In the meantime, though …

Hopefully everyone is enjoying their start to summer (which officially kicks off this Wednesday).  And hopefully 2017 winds up being a big year for tourism in South Carolina – and beyond.

Our economy could sure use a spark …
