“GREAT DAY” POLITICAL ORGANIZATION RAMPS UP

S.C. governor Nikki Haley‘s newest political action committee will begin launching television ads against selected legislative targets across the Palmetto State this week.

Haley’s group – “A Great Day SC” – had an estimated $500,000 to spend on legislative races as of last month’s campaign disclosures.

According to our sources, it will begin dropping that money this week …

Haley’s top targets?  Powerful, corrupt S.C. Senate president Hugh Leatherman and liberal State Senator Luke Rankin.  Both of these former Democrats routinely vote with their “former” party – although we’re not sure the challengers chosen by Haley and her out-of-state allies would do much better.

After all, Haley has endorsed virtually every penny of the legislature’s big government agenda – while also embracing corporate cronyism and South Carolina’s failed government-run academic system.

In other words, electing candidates who support her agenda may not be all that much different than leaving the current crop of liberal lawmakers in place …
