3801 Lancaster: Kermit Gosnell Film Coming To South Carolina

The case that shifted our worldview on the issue of abortion wasn’t Planned Parenthood, it was the case of Kermit Gosnell. In fact when Planned Parenthood’s fetal body parts scam first made headlines, our headline referred to the organization’s barbaric practice as its “Kermit Gosnell moment.”

The Gosnell case forced us to confront the pure savagery of abortion – especially late-term abortions.

But it was worse than that …

“This story isn’t just about abortion – it’s about a truly demonic individual and his minions performing all manner of savage inhumanities on women, newborn children and fetuses – and getting away with it for years,” we wrote at the time.

Gosnell is now a convicted murderer getting “three hots and a cot” courtesy of the taxpayers of Pennsylvania.  Which is a lot better than his victims got.  Hell, had this guy been taken out and shot it would have been a merciful sentence compared to the sort of final “justice” he routinely doled out.

Anyway, Gosnell’s shop of horrors is the subject of a new documentary film entitled 3801 Lancaster – which was the address of the Philadelphia clinic raided by police in 2010.

“What investigators discovered upon entering the clinic was unthinkable,” the filmmakers stated.  “Blood stained floors.  A feral cat roaming the hallways and examination rooms.  Fetal remains in the staff food freezers.  A row of jars containing severed feet.  As investigators began interviewing employees, they learned that Dr. Gosnell employed a tactic that he called ‘snipping.’  Women who came in for late-term abortions would be induced, live babies would be born, and then Dr. Gosnell would kill the babies by severing their spinal chords with scissors.”

“There has probably not been a more shocking example of the disregard for human life in America in our generation than that found at Dr. Gosnell’s clinic,” said Oran Smith of the Palmetto Family Council, a social conservative advocacy group which is promoting the film.

3801 Lancaster is scheduled for a screening in Greenville, S.C. next month.  The screening will take place on November 10 at the Camelot Theater (48 E Antrim Drive) at 7:30 p.m. EDT.  Tickets are $12.00.

Producers say they hope the film will build awareness of the savagery of such practices.

“Kermit Gosnell was able to do what he did because people looked the other way,” the filmmakers stated.  “It’s up to us to make sure history doesn’t repeat itself.”
