Back in late May, we were the first news outlet to publish reports that 24-year-old Southern Charm television star Kathryn Dennis was pregnant with her second child.
Those reports have now been confirmed …

News of Dennis’ pregnancy broke just one day after the father of her child – 53-year-old Southern Charm co-star Thomas Ravenel – made the news for getting head-butted at a Charleston, S.C. bar. That incident comes one month after Ravenel was involved in a scuffle with another man outside of a five-star Florida resort – where he was allegedly having a romantic liaison with the man’s ex-girlfriend.
Who, by the way, is not Kathryn Dennis …
Ravenel and Dennis are parents of one child together – a daughter named Kensington Calhoun Ravenel. Of course the baby has not slowed the metronomic state of their off-again, on-again, off-again, on again relationship.
Dennis did not address the status of her relationship with Ravenel in breaking the news.
“I’m just excited about the baby,” Dennis told People. “And I’m happy [our daughter] Kensie will have a friend to play with. It’s nice that they will be so close in age.”
Ravenel said he was excited to be a father again.
“The greatest gift thus far in my life has been the privilege of being a father to my daughter Kensie,” he told the magazine. “Now, with a son on the way, I feel doubly blessed. My cup runneth over.”

Why? A lifetime of never having to work. Before the kids, there was a distinct possibility she would have had to fraternize with the great unwashed and actually do something to earn some money. She could have just saved Rembert Jr the cost of a USC education by just getting knocked up and never going to college.

One would hope for the kids’ sake that they would be able to emerge from the pitiful and hard to watch examples of their equally useless parents, but of course we all know that’s exceedingly unlikely. What is much more likely (nearly certain, actually) is that they will grow up to become shallow, narcissistic, self-absorbed jackasses who believe they’re entitled to the same ungrounded socialite lifestyle enjoyed by their nitwit parents. Hopefully at some point FITS will cut the Ravenel freak show loose.
Both of those “political dynasties” are dead with this current generation, not to mention the next. The Dennis name is already dead, the Ravanel name will be dead as soon as the old man kicks the bucket.
