Turner was arrested by agents of the S.C. State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and booked at the Spartanburg County (S.C.) detention center.

Turner could face up to 16 years in prison if convicted on all the charges filed against him.
In addition to Turner, SLED arrested 65-year-old Gary Christopher Martin in connection with the case – charging him with one count of wiretapping and one count of computer crime.
SLED is investigating at the request of the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) – agencies referenced in our original reporting on the alleged PCB contamination.
