CATHY HAZELWOOD LEAVING POST AT S.C. STATE ETHICS COMMISSION
|| By FITSNEWS || Poor Cathy Hazelwood. On those rare occasions when she – as the top staffer at the S.C. State Ethics Commission (SCSEC) – tried to hold politicians accountable for their actions, her superiors overruled her.
No wonder she was ready to get the hell out of dodge …
And this week’s shenanigans were apparently the final straw …
According to our sources, Hazelwood will be leaving the SCSEC to take a position with incoming superintendent of education Molly Spearman.
No word yet on who might replace her, but if you think it matters … LOL.

Had contact with Ms. Hazelwood on a couple of occasions and found her to be a puppet for politicians. She lied to my face and dismissed a complaint all the while knowing the evidence was overwhelming against a top staffer of a major agency. She implied strongly that there was nothing she could do to sanction the scum involved if she wanted to keep her job. I actually ended up feeling sorry for her weak personality.
