HUTTO: GRAHAM “COULDN’T GET ELECTED PRESIDENT OF HIS OWN FAN CLUB”
By FITSNEWS || U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham may be setting his sights on the American presidency, but his Democratic opponent thinks that’s a reach given his enduring unpopularity at home.
“It is questionable whether Lindsey Graham could get elected President of his own fan club,” S.C. Sen. Brad Hutto said.
Hutto – along with independent Thomas Ravenel and Libertarian Victor Kocher – is running against the liberal “Republican’ for the U.S. Senate seat he has held since 2003. Prior to that, Graham spent eight years as a member of the U.S. House.
“Lindsey Graham continues to make South Carolina a joke on late night TV,” Hutto added. “For a 20-year incumbent who is repeatedly polling no better than 46 percent, this is further evidence that his focus is not on South Carolina and he is out of touch with both the people who elected him and political reality.”
Ordinarily we’d say South Carolinians would get a chance to decide for themselves, but Graham – who is known to hand-pick his local crowds – decided last week he didn’t have time to debate his opponents.
Funny … he’s got plenty of time for the Washington talk shows.
Also of interest? In declaring his presidential ambitions, Graham pointed out that unlike his fellow “neoconservative” (a.k.a. warmonger) Marco Rubio, he was no longer “afraid of the right.”
“I’ve let that go,” Graham told Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard.

I’m no fan of Brad Hutto. That said, I believe this country could more easily stomach him for six years (until something better comes along) than six more years of Miss Grahamnesty. I’d rather see T-Rav wind up in that office for the time being, though.

You may be right. I mean I though after Bush we were safe from the possibility of another Republican President for the foreseeable future. Maybe Obama’s Presidency, has made that us a little less safe. But I am still optimistic we can avoid another disaster. Polls look good for now.
If you guys think Miss Lindsey is liberal, just wait for Brad Hutto. If Democrats would/could nominate a reasonable candidate, they could win this race. Hutto is ideologically in lock step with Obama, Reid and Pelosi.
