MARYLAND GOVERNOR TO CAMPAIGN FOR PALMETTO DEMOCRATS
Liberal anti-gun Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley will travel to early-voting South Carolina this fall to help a pair of Democrats campaigning for statewide office.
You know … assuming he can stay awake.
O’Malley will join S.C. Senator Vincent Sheheen (the party’s 2014 gubernatorial nominee) and S.C. Rep. Bakari Sellers (a centrist Democrat who is the party’s nominee for lieutenant governor) at a pair of events on Saturday, September 20.
S.C. Sen. Brad Hutto – the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate seat held by “Republican” Lindsey Graham – will join the group at one of the events.
O’Malley’s visit is part of S.C. Democratic Party chairman Jamie Harrison‘s efforts to travel to all forty-six South Carolina counties prior to the November 4 election.
“In this critical election for the future of our state, we are leaving no voter and no county behind,” Harrison said. “By visiting every county in the final 46 days before November 4, the South Carolina Democratic Party will make sure that every voter knows the importance of this election.”
O’Malley is a second-tier Democratic presidential contender … but then again so is everyone not named Hillary Clinton.

Any candidate who would allow this guy to stand next to him and say they are on the same page is so tone deaf and out of touch that they didn’t really have a shot anyways. Even Obama would be less damaging to your campaign.
Ervin is pro-abortion, pro state sanctioned gay marriage and for Obamacare and the Medicaid expansion.
Why is O’Malley not campaigning for the most liberal candidate in the governor’s race-Tom Ervin-Williams?

The only way a poll would show 0% is if the candidate was NOT included, which is the case here.
It’s kind of like saying USC lost to Florida State today.
You are worse at football analogies than polling. Ervin is not even on the “schedule” – several million $$$$’s later not a reputable or credible pollster in this country will even give him an opponent to run against!
Just like the SC1 Sanford-EBC race where “paid for pollster hacks” were apparently paid to show Sanford behind and losing in a landslide to shape public opinion, in my opinion the same will be done in this race with Democrat and local pollsters.
Won’t matter . Just like Sanford was never behind 10 points and won by 9 points – Haley has always been ahead 10 -15 points. That won’t change. Proof of that is Ervin is having to move to the left of Sheeheen to try and poll @ 10%. He can get no more votes from Haley’s base.
A pollster asks the respondent whom they will vote for and gives the names THEY chose to include. If the pollster does not include Ervin’s name, he can’t receive any votes.
In the Rasmussen poll, OTHER candidates received 6%. Do you think that is all for the Libertarian, when he has done no ads and Libertarians routine get 1% ?
Just because one politician is on stage with another one, doesn’t mean they agree on everything.

Well it is looking a bit ragged these days, but perhaps that is to be expected. The last time it got an significant upgrade was January of 2009.
Shows what you know. Obama upgraded the White House like he upgraded the Chicago Housing Projects! Anyone there at the time will tell you they were worse off after his wasted time and money he help pour into them.

Governor O’Malley is a great guy – and very bright as well. I’m actually surprised he would come to South Carolina.
Sheheen undoubtedly needs all the help he can get – I don’t know of anyone excited about Sheheen’s candidacy – not even sure if Sheheen himself is.
While Sheheen does not “move me” I’ll vote for him in hopes of getting rid of Nikki Haley – not sure our beautiful state can survive another term with Haley at the helm.
