Where's Brett? September 18, 2014 at 12:58 pm

Speaking of Dateline and high profile murders, Brett Parker still doesn’t show up on any prisoner databases. What kind of deal did he put together? That usually suggests some sort of home confinement. Pretty bizarre for a crime that should have brought a ride on the lighting or the needle.

Dateline profiled him. Although, I thought they portrayed it as a case in which he could possibly be non guilty, which is preposterous.

“Charleston Affair” Airing On Dateline”

I wasn’t sure if this was about T-Rav or Sanford.

Or Eckstrom?

There also could have been confusion about Wilkerson’s statement that he was here to “kill a bitch”. The Police could have thought it was Jenny he was after.

Dateline had a pretty good episode on that girl who got murdered in Charleston a couple of years ago too. I’m beginning to think Dateline producers just like visiting Charleston.

Waring? If so, I saw that. That was a very sad case.

Yeah. It was an interesting, but very sad story.

Which girl? The one from Boone whose fiance killed her?

I think she was from Charleston because her dad was some big time developer or something there. He basically had to go to his friends to get them to pay for Andy Savage and a private investigative team to solve the crime. Then, once they solve it, the Charleston PD quasi-arrest the private investigative team in case they were the ones that did the murder. Point is- don’t get murdered in Charleston, the police will never figure out who did it.

Dateline can re-visit Columbus, MS. The murders of over a half dozen citizens there is still unsolved. Serial killers are hard to nab.

If the feds get Harrell, perhaps he and best buddy Chris Latham can be cellies.

I’ve met Latham before. Aside from wanting to pay for someone to kill his wife, he was a pretty nice guy.

Are you watching this?
This “pretty nice guy” doesn’t look so “pretty nice” in this documentary.

I am. He was always nice to me, but then again, I just talked to him a few times about fishing.

He was never Charleston “royalty”. They are making him out to be a lot more than he is/was.

And his wife seems like a real bitch. “Are you offering?”

Hardly.

Indeed. Nancy just seems like a greedy bitch who couldn’t wait to capitalize off the story.

Keith Morrison is reporting. I’ll watch just ’cause it’s him.

Speaking of Charleston Affairs, Fits…this is a request…can you give us an update on how G.M. is doing as the new president of CoC? I’d love to hear some dirt….

Didn’t both Latham’s admit to sexual relationships outside of their marriage? Wasn’t there some girl-on-girl action also according to the P&C?

Who is this Bobby Harrell guy? Is he that brain dead corrupt political hack that once was someone important in South Carolina?

Just watched the show..

Aaron Wilkinson got hosed in this..!!

He saves a life by telling the story and gets 4 years… Should have been zero time..

First, it’s real simple to understand that anyone in this position again will think twice of telling on someone if they’re going to get substantial time in jail…!!

Feds let mob murderers go free for telling their story, but not this poor guy…

Should have gotten a lawyer first, but the lady may have been gone by that time..

Truly in this case, No Good Deed Goes Unpunished..!!!

UNBELIEVABLE..!!!

I agree. He should have got probation and been required to marry Nancy. A life sentence.

Marge September 19, 2014 at 11:15 pm

No, could have been a lot more. Maybe this is his chance to really get clean and hopefully the wife -Nancy will help him so he has a life to live when he gets out. He’ll need job training and rehab or something like that to keep him on a good path for a while.

I watched this show and I have to ask……What is it with lowcountry adulterers always talking about God,Jesus and the Bible? This Moore woman sounded like Sanford. They can screw around all they want as long as they throw in a Jesus every now and then.

What if, Aaron had not gotten stopped by the police?!?! How would this plot have ended?????
