Henry McMaster (a.k.a. “Foghorn Leghorn”) has a new television ad out … except no, not really.
Somebody is having fun with the good ol’ boy, though …
McMaster’s opponent – Democratic lieutenant gubernatorial candidate Bakari Sellers (D-Bamberg) – has released a funny video purporting to show “secretly obtained raw video of Henry McMaster’s first general election TV commercial for lieutenant governor.”
McMaster cruised to the GOP nomination for this office in this week’s “Republican” runoff election – easily besting Mike Campbell, son of former GOP Gov. Carroll Campbell. McMaster was supposed to have faced off against S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley’s hand-picked No. 2 – wealthy Lowcountry developer Pat McKinney – but he dropped out of the race.
In the web video, a voice actor portraying McMaster argues with an advisor who is having trouble keeping track of all the offices McMaster has sought over the years.
“McMaster has been running for Office since Bakari was two years old,” one of Sellers’ campaign aides told FITS. “He’s been on the government payroll since before Bakari was born.”

Of course, turn around is fair play, so if I’m McMaster I run a video in Chester with a Bakari look a like, wearing a baseball cap turned sideways, gangsta style, driving a tinted out Benz on 24’s and booming the tunes driving erratically just outside of downtown…

That is kinda not even funny. Bakari is educated and not a bad person. I have met him, Guess what, he is black ! I like his new attitude about things. He is a ” down to earth person “. SC needs to move out of the dark ages, he is prefect for the roll. I worked on his car, years ago. His suit needed to be cleaned, had stains on it. He knew it, shrugged it off and went on his way. I like him.

How did they keep Bakara out of the Watermelon Patch long enough to come up with this? Fritz Hollings is the Original “Fog Horn” and he was successful in getting the Confederate Flag up on the State House and yet Bakar’s people kept voting for him. Politics am a strange animal.
