NIKKI CAN SEE RUSSIA FROM HER HOUSE, TOO!

“Republicans” have to do something dramatically different if they ever hope to win another national election.

You know … something like providing an alternative to the crony capitalist, entitlement-expanding, welfare-ballooning, global interventionist, debt-exploding Democrats who currently control the White House and the U.S. Senate.

Or in lieu of something substantive they could run former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and current S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley on a ticket … because let’s face it, that would be so much more fun than any of us deserve.

One Lakeland, Florida man is already hip to the notion …

“My suggestion for the Republican 2016 presidential election is Sarah Palin for president and Nikki Haley for vice president,” Lakeland resident Jim Springs writes. “Before you laugh or disagree, read Sarah’s book, Going Rogue: An American Life, and Nikki’s book, Can’t Is Not an Option: My American Story.”

According to Springs, “the only thing better than one woman is two women with common sense and patient determination. Unbeatable these days.”

Ha! “The only thing better than one woman is two women …”

No argument from us on that!

So far no one has explained the missing $50,000 from the bank loan the Temple got, which was just about the time Palin showed up for Haley’s photo op at the State House……

Governor Sarah Palin is a self-made women with a very impressive career who broke into politics without the head start of a powerful husband or father and has a history of being a reformer and taking on powerful interests for the benefit of ordinary people.
City council, mayor, Governor, oil and gas commission, VP candidate, already vetted, been scrutinized every way possible and still standing strong. Long list of accomplishments and over 20 years of experience. As Governor Sarah Palin didn’t just cut spending; she saved, reformed, and prioritized like a good fiscal manager. She invested $5 billion in state savings, overhauled education funding, paid down debt, invested $2.6 billion in an education fund for the future, and funded a Senior Benefits Program to provide support for low-income Alaskan seniors.
In stark contrast to President Obama and other governors whose fiscal records are dogged by credit downgrades, Palin left Alaska with an improved credit rating during and following her tenure as governor. Standard & Poor’s raised Alaska’s credit rating from AA to AA+ in April 2008. Then in 2010, both Moody’s and Standard & Poor’s upgraded Alaska to AAA for the first time in the state’s history due to policies enacted by Palin that made the state’s finances more than solvent. Taking on corruption and crony capitalism has always been a cornerstone of Sarah Palin’s agenda; in Alaska she did take on the old-boy network — the oil companies and her own party.
As oil and gas commissioner, Sarah Palin called out the unethical practices of members of her own party. As Governor, she sought to end the back room deals and improper relationships between oil companies and politicians.

After the 2008 election Gov. Sarah Palin helped lead Republicans to the greatest congressional victory in several generations during the 2010 election with her endorsements and rallies all over the country; she has endorsed 73 candidates for the US House of Representatives and Senate; state governors and attorney generals. Her success rate is at 69%. 18 out of 20 targets in her Take Back the 20 campaign ; this is a 90% success rate! Gov. Sarah Palin also had a very strong hand in the party’s few successes during this election . Gov. Sarah Palin campaigned for constitutional conservatives like Ted Cruz, Deb Fischer, Paul Gosar, resulting in 5 conservatives being elected to the Senate and 32 conservatives to the House.
She has repeatedly been a leading voice against the dangers of ObamaCare and the risks of President Obama’s approach to energy and was the first Republican to make a high-profile critique of the Federal Reserve’s quantitative easing, though even earlier she had marked the collapsing value of the dollar as one of her issues.

Governor Sarah Palin has offered many statements on issues such as health care, the Federal Reserve’s money printing in funding our federal deficit, Crony Capitalism, energy independence, foreign policy, etc)

I’ll see your “hypothetical” questions (which really weren’t, they were just questions), and raise you one: Who’s “smarter,” Palin (who is certainly no brainiac) or Biden (who is a stammering buffoon)? Plagiarism, stupid comments, foreign policy wrongo after wrongo… I think it’s about a tie.

SparkleCity March 2, 2014 at 11:14 pm

Well……..

All’s I can say is this:

Every family has a buffoonish “Uncle Joe”

Not every family has a batshit crazy MILF

Kinda hard to see if that’s a tie……….

Mike at the Beach March 2, 2014 at 11:22 pm

I hear you, but Biden’s no average Uncle Joe buffoon. He’s said things AT LEAST as monumentally stupid as Palin, and on many, many occasions. I’m no fan of either (as you should be able to tell by now), but Palin evokes an animus and unfairness when stupid falls out of her face, while buffoony Joe gets a pass; over, and over, and over. His simple-minded impolitic moments get a little comic attention here and there, but if you read more deeply you’ll see that those comments and gaffes pale in comparison to some of his real intellectual blunders. In my mind, it’s a tie. I will give you this, though; Biden certainly does not inflame the psyche of the right as Palin does the left. Actually, I stipulate to two points; Palin is also most certainly a MILF.

SparkleCity March 3, 2014 at 7:22 am

Looks like we kinda-sorta see eye to eye.

Only thing is something tells me “Uncle Joe” could find Kiev on a map and Sarah could not.

Don’t get me wrong I don’t think I would vote for “Uncle Joe” but as you write he gets a pass because of his affability. Sarah can’t pull that off.

Maybe we can quaff a brew or two at Bimini’s at N. Myrtle some time and solve the world’s problems.

TOP TEN REASONS OBAMA KEPT BIDEN ON THE TICKET —–

1. Biden remarks to Obama every morning how handsome he looks today.

2. He tells Obama everything he does is a “gutsy move.”

3. Biden promised to have a red light implanted on his forehead that turns on every time he is about to say something stupid.

4. Obama hopes Biden will help with voters who don’t speak English.

5. Biden has a copy of Obama’s college transcripts.

6. Biden threatened to strip down to his underwear and commit hari-kari in front of the Air and Space Museum.

7. The only 3 am phone call Obama gets is Biden sobbing to keep his job.

8. Biden promised to eat fish three times a week to improve brain function.

9. He promised to campaign mostly in Guam.

10. Michelle really likes Biden’s comb over.

Top Ten Lines from Joe Biden’s Convention Speech

by Keith Koffler on September 3, 2012, 12:27
pm

One of Vice President Biden’s many female groupies is actually an informant for White House Dossier, and has provided the publication with a draft copy of
Biden’s Democratic convention address. What follows are the top ten lines Biden will deliver Wednesday evening in Charlotte, North Carolina:

1. It’s great to be here in South Carolina!

2. I accept your nomination to be president of the United States.

3.. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan plan to send y’all to Liberia!

4. Is there a delicatessen nearby? Does anybody in the house have a sandwich?

5. Everybody’s says Paul Ryan is such a smarty pants. Well let me tell you something Mr. Ryan: You don’t need to be that smart to be vice president!

6. Some people wrongly suggest I’m senile and have started forgetting things! Some people wrongly suggest I’m senile and have started forgetting things!

7. Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what your country can . . . ask what . . oh, Jesus, forget it.

8. It’s time now for a moment of silence in memory of one of the greatest football players of all time, Mr. Red Grange.

9. I’ll never believe it was Yoko Ono who broke up the Beatles. I’ll just never believe it.

10. I got the music in me. I got the music in me. I got the mu-sic-in-me . .
. .

*******

Are there any other lines that you’re aware of?

Mike at the Beach March 3, 2014 at 10:29 am

Hell no, you covered it! My favorite, though:

“Everybody’s says Paul Ryan is such a smarty pants. Well let me tell you something Mr. Ryan: You don’t need to be that smart to be vice president!”

Obviously…

shifty henry March 3, 2014 at 9:11 am

Biden reminds me of the episode on COPS where the old guy answering the door is wearing only boxer shorts and holding a Budweiser in one hand – and invites the cops inside without asking, “Why are you here?”

I am directing the following criticism to pundits on both the left and the right…and everyone inbetween…but especially Sarah Palin as she seems to be more adept at getting her profile shoved into our faces on tv screens and computer monitors across the land.
If you care this much about America’s future, GET INVOLVED DIRECTLY….don’t just sit back and pontificate on Fox News to collect a pay check. Run for office, get elected, become involved in policy making. Do something meaningful.
It’s easy for her to sit back and armchair quaterback everything in 20/20 hindsight. Pretty gutless if you ask me. At least Haley is actually holding office (and not quitting half way through) and doing something, even if it is taking this state down the opposite road of where we need to be going.

What the Conservatives Wouldn’t Tell Us and What the Progressives Didn’t Know

On August 8, 1971, Lewis F. Powell, Jr, drafted a confidential memorandum for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce which provided a Blueprint for Corporate Dominance of Democracy in the America. On January 7, 1972, Powell joined the Supreme Court of United States (SCOTUS), with no disclosure of his memo during his confirmation hearings.

The memo did not become available to the public until September, 1972, after Powell’s confirmation to the Court when it was leaked to Jack Anderson, a syndicated
columnist and investigative reporter, who cited it as reason to doubt Powell’s
legal objectivity.

Powell recognized that the country still embraced basic New Deal values in 1971 with an acceptance that the government should act to remedy inequality, injustice and other ills that could result from corporate power (like income inequality and damage to the environment). And he (and many other business leaders) didn’t like it and
wanted to do something to change it.

Four decades later, Powell’s “Blueprint for Corporate Dominance,” which can be viewed as the Crony Capitalism Manifesto, has resulted in, among other things, SCOTUS’s gutting of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the SCOTUS Citizens United Decision, as well asthe political capture and economic inequality, described in Oxfam’s WORKING FOR THE FEW.

The Powell Memo appears to be the smoking gun that started our current class war, as described in HEIST:Who Stole the American Dream?

Buz Martin March 3, 2014 at 1:08 pm

Sadly, it has taken the chamber fighting efforts against Obamacare in SC to get Republicans to wake up to what a corrosive and oppressive force they are in American politics, and how their crony capitalist ways actually militate against free enterprise.
