Nikki Haley’s embattled welfare czarina collapsed in her office on Monday and was taken by one of her employees to a nearby hospital for evaluation.

S.C. Department of Social Services (SCDSS) director Lillian Koller was treated for an undisclosed ailment and released, we’re told.

Sources close to the agency – which doles out hundreds of millions of dollars in welfare payments each year (most inefficiently we might add) – tell FITS she may have suffered a mini-stroke.

Koller, 55, was tapped by Haley for the SCDSS job in 2011. Since then the agency has been literally one disaster after another, with elected officials of both parties calling for her ouster.

As terrible as Koller is at her job (and as political as her selection was in the first place), we obviously don’t wish health problems on anyone. So here’s hoping she has a speedy recovery.

More importantly, let’s hope taxpayers experience an equally speedy recovery when she’s gone …

Sometimes I am wrong, sometimes

Maybe she is sick, maybe she did have a mini stroke or maybe she feels the gravy train slowing up so why not take a fall on the loading dock, blame management, file a couple of work environment law suits and leave the State with a few more millions in the bank plus a lifetime pension with full health benefits

Like I said, sometimes I am wrong, sometimes

Karma is a bitch…………..maybe she should try treating people with respect! What comes around goes around. Her flunkies know that when she leaves (and hopefully this will be her opportunity to leave without being FIRED!!!!) their actions while working for her will come back to haunt them and they will be gone also. Governor Haley does not care about children and families in SC and Koller doesn’t either. Governor Haley and her political supporters could care less about the citizens of SC. They would rather support Koller than the citizens, children, and families of SC. I will vote for a DOG before I vote for Haley!!!!!!!

Koller has some real jokes on her executive team at scdss…the bow tie guy is so unprofessional and obviously knows little about social services. Check them out…sad!
