George Zimmerman – whose acquittal in the Trayvon Martin case earlier this year sparked a national uproar – is back in jail.

The 30-year-old has been accused of felony aggravated assault for pointing a shotgun at his girlfiend, Samantha Scheibe, in the early morning hours Monday. Zimmerman has also been accused of domestic violence battery and criminal mischief in connection with the same incident.

Both Zimmerman and Scheibe made 911 calls in connection with the incident.

“He’s inside my house breaking all my sh*t because I asked him to leave,” Scheibe told the 911 operator. “He has his freaking gun breaking all of my stuff right now.”

Scheibe told police Zimmerman had four guns in the residence.

In Zimmerman’s 911 call, he accuses Scheibe of “for lack of a better term, going crazy on me.”

He denies threatening her with a weapon.

“She was throwing my stuff out, and one of the bags was one of my firearms,” he said. “I never pulled a firearm, I never displayed it.”

“I just want everyone to know the truth,” Zimmerman added.

Zimmerman is being held without bail in connection with the charges. If convicted, he could face up to fifteen years in jail.

In February 2012, Zimmerman – the leader of his gated community’s neighborhood watch unit – fatally shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Initially police released Zimmerman because there was no evidence to refute his claim of having acted in self-defense. Six weeks later, however, a special prosecutor appointed by Florida Gov. Rick Scott charged Zimmerman with murder.

Since he was acquitted in July, Zimmerman has been stopped twice for speeding. He was also involved in a September incident with his estranged wife and her father in which he was accused of threatening them with a gun – and punching his former father-in-law in the face.

Charges were not filed in connection with the September incident.

UPDATE: During Zimmerman’s court appearance this week, it was alleged that he tried to choke Scheibe a week ago in an incident that wasn’t reported to police.

UPDATE II: Zimmerman is now free on $9,000 bail. He is barred from leaving the state of Florida or possessing a firearm pending the resolution of the charges against him.

That boy just don’t get it. I don’t doubt him. He’s probably a little aggressive, but to paraphrase what we used to say ‘Looks fair from my house’.
That said, this guy needs to find a whole and crawl in it till the heat dies down.

…or under the rock he crawled out of. BTW, he was lying about his girlfriend being preg. Bullshit artist is more like it. I really wish he could take an ass kicking like a real man and not be a scared little pussy if he’s not packing.

Because you were there?, or the LSM is your pseudo god?

Let me get this straight. He (allegedly) did all of this stuff, and when the lady went outside to talk to the police, he then barricaded himself inside, called 911 so people could know “the truth,” and THEN surrendered, claiming she broke her own table and that he really didn’t point the gun at her?

This is the same guy who broke an iPad that may have had video evidence of him assaulting his soon-to-be-ex-wife’s dad?

He’s really starting to show a pattern of him being violent and then doing something immediately afterwards that he believes will cover his ass. The broken iPad is obvious, he destroyed potential video evidence. The barricading and 911 call is even more obvious, he knows they are recorded and that it would end up in the news fairly quickly. There was no other point, the cops were already there, she was outside and unarmed.

Also, why did he barricade her out of her own house? Why wouldn’t he want her or the cops coming in? Seriously, she accused him of vandalizing her stuff on a 911 call, then he barricaded the door after she walked outside and was alone inside the house for however long, alone. If she were trying to set him up, why would he do that? At least walk outside and wait for the cops to show up.

These are two different victims, too, so it is far less likely to be just some petty spat that turned into a revenge call to the police. Not unless this guy likes going out with crazies.

I don’t think this changes anything about the Trayvon Martin case, it is over, there’s nothing more to say about it. What I will say is that I believe this guy is a shitty human being, and that if the above two cases are true, he will very likely continue in that behavior until he fucks up beyond his ability to cover his own ass and end up in jail. It really, really should not be that difficult to go for more than a few months without someone calling 911 saying you are being a violent douche.

You are absolutely right on the money; The guy is obviously a moron.
If you are Geo Zimmerman you should be doing your level best to STAY OUT OF TROUBLE. Hell, you know the media, et. al. are watching your every freakin’ move. The guy is either one of the stupidest animals on earth or a media/fame whore who doesn’t care how he gets attention — my bet is that he is a combination of the two.
That being said, any woman that would have anything to do with him whatsoever has got to be dumber than he is.

Amazing from some of the comments on other sites have people defending him because they feel he’s some sort of hero without reproach. It’s not like he didn’t have priors before he went all celeb and shit.

I’m assuming that’s “source”? Frank, you know it’s who you know in this country. That being a son of a retired magistrate doesn’t hurt either. Here ya go:

Not a verifiable link. Correct source. GAWD DAMNED CELL PHONES.

Ben Stevens November 19, 2013 at 3:40 pm

Yep! He has a real way with the ladies. A friend of mine in college punched a cop in the face and was facing up to ten years. He made a few calls to his well connected lawyer and his pending trial was removed from the docket. Anybody else may have done some time and have a felony on their record.

Frank Pytel November 19, 2013 at 3:42 pm

But did the cop deserve it?

Ben Stevens November 19, 2013 at 3:45 pm

No, he did not! My friend was a Darlington redneck I grew up with.

Frank Pytel November 19, 2013 at 4:28 pm

So, you were there and you would k.ow. But rednecks can’t be right?

Jonestown Kool-Aid® November 19, 2013 at 4:12 pm

Frank, you’re the biggest cynic on this thing and now you’re trying to convince myself and others that the playing field is just and even? It’s just a convenient coincidence that his dad is well connected and 4 arrests were just freak occurences? Just sayin’. As you say “Have a good day because…”

Frank Pytel November 19, 2013 at 4:15 pm

…there won’t be many left with the Republicrats n Demlicans in charge. Correct

Jonestown Kool-Aid® November 19, 2013 at 4:16 pm

Looks that way. See we can agree on something.

Frank Pytel November 19, 2013 at 4:18 pm

We can agree on lots of things. I just don’t agree with she said so. Sorry. It happens a whole lot more often than you’re willing to allow yourself to believe.

Frank Pytel November 19, 2013 at 4:17 pm

If his dad is a cop, I believe he would skate. But that doesn’t mean he’s guilty because she said so.

Frank Pytel November 19, 2013 at 4:19 pm

I’m jaded on many subjects. Opinions are not hate.

Jonestown Kool-Aid® November 19, 2013 at 4:25 pm

Me too.

Frank Pytel November 19, 2013 at 3:41 pm

I see no convictions.

Jonestown Kool-Aid® November 19, 2013 at 3:52 pm

Did I say convictions? No, I said he had priors…meaning run ins with the law that show a violent pattern. Guess he’s a hero in your eyes, huh? I don’t know anyone with 4 arrests that went closed in my life, have you? Goddamn, you’re a fucking tool.

Frank Pytel November 19, 2013 at 4:34 pm

Prior contact don’t mean shit. This day n age, convictions dont mean much more. NSA, DHS. ALL a bunch of gawd damned liars. That NAACP clown in 5 points. Dr. could’ve cleared that up in less than 5. And now, idk for sure but somebody is withholding, here’s a taste. Might be he called first = backed away from the confontation first.

Frank Pytel November 19, 2013 at 4:36 pm

I said conviction. Nobody can trust a cop of anykind.

Jonestown Kool-Aid® November 19, 2013 at 4:43 pm

I don’t trust them either, but that seems high for one person.

Frank Pytel November 19, 2013 at 4:53 pm

Clarify?

Jonestown Kool-Aid® November 19, 2013 at 5:04 pm

I mean in 2005, that many arrests?

southmauldin November 19, 2013 at 9:23 am

I guess the next step is a reality TV show for this SOB.
