While urban Richland County leaders appear to be hard at work rigging another election in the Palmetto State’s capital city, the mayor of a small town in rural South Carolina was removed from a polling place after allegedly threatening and intimidating voters.
Swansea, S.C. mayor Ray Spires – the halfwit who is running for “relection” in this Lexington County town – was escorted out of town hall by local election commissioner Freddie Black Tuesday morning. What for? The poll manager observed him taking down the names of citizens waiting in line to cast their votes.
“Some of the people waiting to vote complained – afraid of retribution,” a source who witnessed Spires’ removal told FITS.
The mayor wasn’t alone, this source said.
“He had two people taking the names of voters – one inside the building where the voting was actually taking place and one outside the building,” our source said.
In addition to taking names, Spires and his minions were allegedly taking down license plate numbers as well.
Amazing, huh?
Nothing like election day in the most corrupt state in America …
In addition this drama, poll workers in Swansea reportedly refused to permit several voters to cast ballots provisionally after questions were raised regarding their residency.
“The town hasn’t updated its map – and so eligible voters were not only turned away, they were not allowed to cast provisional ballots,” one source told FITS.

So many lies in this story, check with the poll manager and it neglects to mention that Jerald Sanders and his entourage were also directed to leave the poling center but they elected to stand at the entrance to the parking lot the rest of the day intimidating those citizens not in their corner. That it was Mr. Freddie Black who informed some people from other towns that they couldn’t vote in a Swansea election. People form Mr. Sanders part time church he pastors at. Funny how these same business people who are against Spires are the same people who own the dilapidated building in town that the Town is trying to get the owners to honor their legal agreement to repair and occupy after receiving grant money to restore the front of the buildings. And who are blocking these efforts in court costing the Town even more money. They want you to believe they have the Town’s interest at heart and want the citizens to let them run the Town. For what to swindle the Town out of more money. Don’t trust me check the court records (Lexington and Aiken County) how many times they have been sued in their own businesses and lost. And they want to run our town, what a joke. I’ll give them this they know how to lie to the media and the media doesn’t care as long as it brings in ratings I guess. The sad part is how many people believe their lies without checking the facts. They are creative, instead of defending their lawsuit they just get elected to office and drop it their selves. Sanders owes Spires a thanks for keeping him out of office. If he would have been elected his entourage would have got him indicted within his first term.

If it gets too bad just truck yourself over the the Cleaners at night, Swansea’s only teen night club. According to the Chief, it a fine healthy upstanding club for Swansea’s youth. But according to the Chief, while he was out campaigning for Spires, why nothing wrong with underage girls in nightgowns hanging with grown men drinking and drugging.
