Upstate Senator Lee Bright picked up the second significant national endorsement in less than a week Wednesday – this one from Gun Rights Across America.

“Gun Rights Across America stands for no compromise concerning our Second Amendment rights,” said the group in their endorsement statement. “We are proud to endorse state Senator Lee Bright, due to his unwavering and constitutional stance on Second Amendment liberties. Senator Bright would be a valuable asset in the US Senate and we fully support his candidacy.”

Lee Bright enthusiastically embraced the announcement, stating that “this is a great endorsement, not just of our campaign, but of everything we stand for. Gun Rights Across America understands that all our liberties are under attack from the growing cancer of Obama-Reid government, and that Lindsey Graham is part of that problem. They see what I stand for, and they see Senator Graham in a staged photo shoot, and they have made the right choice.”

Last week, the Bright Campaign was boosted by the endorsement of the National Republican Liberty Caucus, the group that helped launch the campaigns of challengers to the Republican establishment named Ted Cruz and Mike Lee. This second national endorsement in just a few days demonstrates Bright’s ability to bring conservatives together to unseat Graham and challenge the Obama agenda.

This is where I part company with many of the so-called “gun rights” groups. Why do they endorse Bright and not Nancy Mace? I would definitely choose Bright (or anyone) over Lindsey Graham, but why make premature endorsements which may adversely affect good candidates and even their relationship with your organization, should they be the one who wins the seat?

I agree. Did Lee Bright sponsor or introduce any kind of legislation that would expand our rights? That would at least make the endorsement understandable.

Honestly, they should support whoever is pro-gun unless something makes one candidate in particular stand out.

The amount of ignorance here is astounding. Yes, you idiot, he has done a ton for gun rights. Constitutional Carry? Seriously try to keep up.

Hi Smirks! I believe he introduced and/or sponsored the proposed Constitutional Carry bill. As I understand it, this bill is still in play in the Legislature, although it has a lot of opposition from anti-2A Law Enforcement groups such as FOP and SCLEOA. He may also be a sponsor for the Restaurant Carry bill, which I believe may have been introduced by pseudo gun-rights advocate Mike Pitts from Greenwood and Laurens county. The bill can be a good thing if Pitts and a few more will quit trying to gut it.

Because the “gun rights” group know Lee has a record of protecting 2nd Amendment rights. Nancy Mace could be all lip service and riding the Rand Paul and Ted Cruz wave and be a Lindsey all over again. They want someone they know they can trust to have an early lead. Like you I agree anyone is better than Lindsey!!!

Speaking of gun related issues, I found this revelation by a highly-placed police official in the world to be quite refreshing. I don’t know how long his career is good for after breaking away from the party line, but God bless him for having the guts to speak the truth.

Boomerang 303 class example of media flanking.

We highly suggest that the Mace campaign and Stamper campaign reflect upon the reverberations from this divide and conquer stunt. Graham donors are smiling and licking their federal contracts chops. How would voters be in tune to understand this whiff of “stench”.

Dear Darla Moore,

How are you today. We highly suggest that you watch this video and think of how it concerns Lee Bright.

http://thehill.com/video/in-the-news/324435-graham-if-obamacare-is-a-success-hillary-will-win-presidency

We understand that you may not think it matters a hill of beans but when you have discussions concerning benefit costs to “university” employees across our state; how is Haley, Graham, Clyburn, or Riley educating the voting public. When Graham says the future of Hillary is tied to Obama care……what advice would you give Nancy Mace donors. What advice do you think Ms. Anita Zucker would give Nancy Mace.

Darla, what is Nikki Haley not being asked that our fellow taxpayers would need to hear from her concerning health insurance rates.
