The job market in this country is terrible right now. Absolutely terrible. And the job market in South Carolina is really terrible right now. The Palmetto State’s labor participation rate is abysmal, its upward mobility is non-existent and its tax code is extremely anti-competitive (soon to be even more anti-competitive).

As a result of all that, decent full-time jobs which offer competitive salaries and an opportunity for advancement are hard to find … unless you read FITS, that is.

We were recently forwarded a job opening at Strategic Capital Solutions – a Columbia, S.C.-based company which “focuses on community and economic development in rural and underserved areas” (a.k.a. the sort of thing this website usually rails on). Still, they’re hiring for an executive assistant’s position, and we’re not going to let our admitted ideological rigidity stand in the way of somebody putting food on their table.

Anyway, to check out this company’s job opening click here …

Got a job opening you’d like to post on FITS? We’d love to help you out. Submit the relevant information via our tip line or send an email to our founding editor. Who knows, maybe this will become a “new thing” on our new site …
