We’ve never understood the whole “wife swap” reality television concept. We understand how it works in the porn business, but where’s the hook in watching one lower middle class buffoon pawn off his nag for two weeks in exchange for the nag of some other lower middle class buffoon?
Do we really care if some schmo named “Randy” habitually forgets to put the toilet seat down? Or if some fattie named “Crystal” is concerned about her hubby’s emotional availability?
Apparently not … which is why the wife swapping geniuses are now upping the ante with Celebrity Wife Swap (a.k.a. same concept, with pretty people). Or sort of pretty people. The first two participants in the new drama? Veteran reality mom Kate Gosselin (remember her?) and Girl Next Door Kendra Wilkinson (<-NSFW).
From US Weekly:
Gosselin will get to stay with Wilkinson’s husband, former NFL wide receiver Hank Baskett, and their son Hank, 3, while Wilkinson will become a single mother of eight kids (twins Cara and Mady, 12, and sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Leah, Alexis and Hannah, 8), whom Gosselin shares with ex-husband Jon.
Hmmmm … what about Kate’s bodyguard boyfriend? Will he be in the mix? And will Jon get a cameo in this goat show?
If those are questions you’re dying to have answered (or if you’re like us and just want to stare at two pair of nice breasts for an hour), Celebrity Wife Swap will premiere at 8:00 p.m. EST on February 26 (next Tuesday) on ABC.

I’m guessing the one in the side view shot, wearing the bathing suit, must be Kate because of the stretch marks. I’d probably do her but would need a signed contract that I wasn’t responsible for any babies she made as a result. Also, I’d probably need about a 12 pound hame with the bone removed to use as a bushing so I could get some friction.
