IMAGES FROM THE GAMECOCKS’ LONG OVERDUE VICTORY OVER THE RAZORBACKS
After three years of lopsided losses, the University of South Carolina football team finally beat Arkansas this weekend – riding the arm of junior quarterback Connor Shaw and the strength of its defense to a 38-20 win over the Razorbacks.
Two-sport star Bruce Ellington (who plays point guard for USC’s basketball team) had another career day in terms of receiving yardage – hauling in five catches for 104 yards and a touchdown – while heralded freshman tight end Jerrell Adams (above) caught his first scoring strike as a Gamecock.
