SCGOP: Former Congressman Artur Davis To Headline Victory Events

Columbia, S.C.- Former Congressman Artur Davis will headline three South Carolina Republican Party Victory events on Thursday and Friday of this week. The events will raise money for the party’s 2012 Victory efforts.
Artur Davis, who seconded the nomination of Barack Obama in 2008 at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, recently switched parties, endorsed Mitt Romney, and spoke at the 2012 Republican National Convention.
“Artur Davis is Barack Obama’s worst nightmare, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to South Carolina,” said SCGOP Chairman Chad Connelly.
