Concerns are being raised across social media over a South Carolina teenager believed to be missing.
According to social media posts from friends and relatives, 16-year-old Harper Huffman was last seen with his mother – prominent Lowcountry social media influencer Jaime Dugan – in Cayce, S.C. on August 30, 2026.
That’s right… five weeks ago.
“There is urgent and valid concern for the wellbeing of our good family friend!” one widely shared post noted.

Sources familiar with the situation say multiple law enforcement agencies are quietly involved in the effort to ascertain more information about Huffman’s situation, however there has been no official notification from any entity regarding the matter.
Nor has there been any formal designation about his status…
Many of the public social media posts referencing Huffman’s reported disappearance have accused Dugan of kidnapping him – with one going so far as to slap a “wanted” banner over her photograph.
As of this writing, however, none of that information has been verified by law enforcement.
Dugan and Huffman’s father, Erik Huffman, met on the Survivor reality television program. Over the last three years, they have had an exceedingly contentious breakup that has included all manner of public allegations including domestic and sexual abuse.
Messages sent to Dugan seeking comment were not immediately returned.

UPDATE |
In the aftermath of our reporting, both The (U.K.) Daily Mail and The New York Post have published extensive articles alleging the FBI is actively searching for Dugan and Huffman – and that Dugan is “wanted” by the federal agency in connection with the alleged kidnapping of her son.

Something’s up, “influencers” don’t generally make their instagrams private.
I wouldn’t know an “influencer” if I saw one – but I hope the young man is OK.
Jamie is a wonderful person. She has been through a terrible time with her ex husband. I am praying for Jamie and Harper
