The average person fills up their vehicle once every three weeks. Let’s say it takes 16 gallons to fill up their vehicle. At $3.80/gallon that’s a cost of $60.80. Let’s get crazy and say gas is $2.50/gallon, that fill up would be $40.00. 52 weeks/3 equals 17.33 fillups in a year… let’s round up to 18. That’s a difference of $374.40 per year… a dollar a day. Let’s all freak out because gas costs us $1.00 more per day this year than it did in 1983. If that’s a financial problem, cut out that $7 Starbucks stop every morning and bring your coffee from home.
The average person, WTH? A lot of people commute thus filling up more than once every three weeks. I just bought a hybrid because gas prices was killing me, even in a car that was paid for!

You spent thousands buying a hybrid because it was a better financial decision than paying the extra $1/day? If you fill up once a week…$3/day. Does it offset your car payment or the higher taxes and insurance you pay on a new vehicle?
my commute is a minimum of 60 miles roundtrip so it was more than a $1 a day. So far it has definitely been worth it. It certainly was not on my bingo card to buy a car but neither was paying through my nose for gas.

Not $1 day, $1 more per day. Okay in your instance, guessing you were getting 20 mpg with your old vehicle… $3/day more than before. You should figure out your payback time period when factoring in car payment, insurance, property taxes and the difference had you kept your old vehicle and paid $1 gallon more. Even if it’s $3 more per day x 5 work days x 4 weeks a month comes to $60/month more than when you were paying $3/gallon.

Then why don’t you pay the extra, Trump Fag?
I do pay the extra, everytime I fill up… just as I did under Biden. Can you not afford an extra $1/day?
The stupidity of Trumptards is apparently bottomless.
