South Carolina’s most notorious ‘fortunate son’ Bowen Turner was back in the news this week after officials with the S.C. Highway Patrol (SCHP) released video of his latest arrest following our Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

Turner was popped for driving under the influence last month following a car crash in Florence County, S.C. – and subsequently saw his probation revoked (again).

Jenn Wood and I discussed the incident and Turner’s bizarre behavior following his arrest – as captured on the arresting officer’s in-car camera.

Our Andy Fancher came on the program to share the latest on his investigations into these unsolved crimes.

Finally, I discussed the big drama in state government this past week – South Carolina’s missing $1.8 billion. Where did this money come from? What should be done with it? And who is to blame for the accounting error?

Answering those questions hasn’t been easy, but as I point out in our closing segment that’s because politicians in Columbia aren’t really trying to answer them …
