South Carolinians have been bombarded in recent weeks with massive door hangers from a political action committee affiliated with Florida governor Ron DeSantis. These missives encourage them to consider the second-term Sunshine State governor as an alternative to Donald Trump.
A paid employee leaving these “door hangs” for the Never Back Down PAC wants a particular voter in Charleston, S.C. to consider something else that dangles, though.
Specifically … his balls.
“Fuck you, get off my fucking lawn,” the door-knocker is heard saying on a Ring door camera, mimicking a property owner in the area who apparently confronted him for violating the neighborhood’s ‘no solicitation’ policy.
“Then I’d be like, ‘yo, eat my balls, honestly,'” he continued, discussing the exchange with a friend over the speakerphone on his cell. “Eat my big, hairy sac.”

“And I’m a little stoned so I don’t really care,” the door-knocker added, for good measure.
Believe it or not, the video has served as fodder for a story in The Washington Post by reporters Michael Scherer and Josh Dawsey.
That’s right … two reporters.
One for each, um … well …
According to Scherer and Dawsey, the “outburst” by the door-knocker prompted an investigation by the Never Back Down PAC – which I suspect was the quickest, least complicated investigation in political history. Shortly thereafter, he was terminated by the organization. According to the Post, the exchange also “highlighted a potential risk of the unprecedented effort by DeSantis donors to flood early primary states with thousands of paid door-knockers armed with high-tech tools to win support one conversation at a time.”
Really?
Come on, Washington Post.
I’m going to be honest … I don’t need some faux “journalistic” pretense to air this clip (which is publicly available on Ring.com). We shared the video because it is objectively hilarious.
Palmetto politicos agreed …
“I’ve run my share of the canvassing campaigns over the years from here to San Bernardino,” veteran Democratic operative Lachlan McIntosh tweeted. “I’ve accumulated a lot of stories, but this is a first.”
“At least the guy wasn’t faking his knocks,” McIntosh added.
