Rand Paul‘s disappointing 2016 presidential campaign took another step backward this week with its decision to do a day-long livestream – or an ongoing live feed of the candidate on the campaign trail.

Seriously … because people who weren’t paying attention to Paul’s five-second soundbites or thirty-second television commercials were going to take an entire day off to watch Paul’s campaign staff record his every waking thought?

Who came up with this idea?  Probably the same geniuses who told the one-time libertarian champion that he could win the GOP nomination as a tool of the “Republican” establishment.

Anyway …

One especially painful moment from the experiment involved Paul having to address whether he is, in fact, still a candidate for president.

Wow …

Just quit, man.  Seriously.  It’s over.  In fact the more we think about it, it was over before it even started.
