Columbia, SC – Democratic nominee for Comptroller General, Kyle Herbert, is asking Richard Eckstrom to stop ducking his request for a debate on the financial issues facing South Carolina.
After learning that ETV will not include the Comptroller General’s race in their list of debates Herbert said, “The people of our state are entitled to hear how the candidates for this top financial office differ on the issues in at least one debate.”
“I believe that our state’s top accountant should be an experienced CPA. I am. I am also a Certified Management Accountant with an MBA from the Citadel. I also believe that our state’s top accountant should have ethics and integrity, qualities that I feel Mr. Eckstrom is lacking,” said Herbert.
Herbert believes that after 16 years in office Eckstrom has forgotten what it means to be a public servant and the only thing Eckstrom is now serving is himself.
“It’s time for Eckstrom to come out of hiding and discuss the issues with his opponent in front of the voters”, said Herbert.

Eckstrom forgot “what it means to be a public servant” years ago when he crossed the SC state line with a state-owned vehicle & credit card — with his entire family on a vacation trip. Only after being called out, he claimed a “woopsy-daisy” & reimbursed some portion of it;….& that’s the kind of arrogance that our elected office holders have convinced themselves is perfectly acceptable. His often outrageous behavior since then is still another story, but he’s got enough sense to stay out of a debate.
Eckstrom’s is a Leatherman stooge. He has Eddie Gunn as his chief of staff and Eddie is a long time Leatherman guy.
It is sickening to see Eckstrom, who used to be a conservative, support Leatherman’s agenda time after time. Big spending comes to all who stay in office to long. Eckstrom, you must go.
I am ONE REPUBLICAN who will be voting against Eckstrom in November.
Eckstrom should be the poster child for reform, stricter ethics laws and recall elections!

I am another Republican who will not vote for Eckstrom! I would have NEVER voted for Sanford, No Ravenel again, NO Bob Peeler ever, No Bobby Harrell, NEVER AGAIN Haley nor any of these others who have been such a disappointment, no ethics, no morals, skirt criminal activity and find the truth impossible to tell.
I will vote independent, American party (like their positions on recall and term limits). Never voted Obama, care not at all for the Dems. They have proved a disaster and many of the South Carolina Republicans are no better. I find them no different than Peelosi, NObama, BiBiBiden, sticks to my Shoemer, C LIE burn, Re turd Reid.
He is a Christian right candidate that had an adulterous affair on his wife.
He is a fiscal conservative that takes the perks of his office as far as he can.
He is an accountant but fails to deduct political activity from his government auto records therefore breaking federal law.
Just like Mark Sanford, Boob Peeler, Thomas Ravenel, Bobby Harrell, Ken Ard, Charlie Sharpe, and our Nikki Haley.

Eckstrom is puke
He is puke with ingrown hairs and a faint whiff of stinky, weak sperm.
I looked up Eckstrom in the Urban Dictionary and it means “lying, sagging, smelly ball sack of a politician that can’t be trusted.”

A lot of Christian voters are upset with Eckstrom. His affairs, his cheating on expense accounts, his taking minivans to Canada and his adultery has put up a real roadblock to value voters. i think he might get knocked off this time.
I once had a bugger that looked a lot like Eckstrom. I saved it for a while, then thought better of it.
