A day after this website exclusively reported on a missing records scandal at the Berkeley County, S.C. court house, the facility has been targeted by a bomb threat.

According to The Berkeley Independent, the threat was called in at 8:15 a.m.

A bomb squad from neighboring Charleston County is on the scene, while presiding judges – including circuit court judge Kristi Harrington – have reportedly been transferred to a “secure, undisclosed location.”

Craziness, huh?

FITS reported earlier this week that an S.C. Attorney General’s investigation into missing money in the court system had uncovered “potentially a decade‚Äôs worth of missing court records,” according to one source.
