Nikki Haley Raises Big Bucks

S.C. Sen. Tom Davis raised $120,000 at a mega-fundraiser in Bluffton, S.C. this week – a pretty impressive haul considering the Lowcountry fiscal conservative wasn’t taking money from political action committees.

But Davis’ event wasn’t the biggest Palmetto political fundraiser this week. That title belongs to S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley – who took in at least $150,000 at a Lexington, S.C. fundraiser hosted by real estate developer Ted McGee.

Haley – who recently concluded fundraising trips to Pennsylvania and New York – has ramped up her fundraising efforts since formally kicking off her 2014 reelection bid last month in Greenville, S.C.

According to the latest campaign finance reports, Haley has $2.4 million on hand to spend on her reelection bid.

Pretty impressive …

Haley is also likely to receive millions more from national “Republican” groups eager to ensure that one of the party’s few female minority candidates isn’t knocked off.

If sheeple in Bluffton have $120k to burn on carpetbagger/scalawag Davis, then they may have a few pennies to help struggling, as Sic Willie would say, “government-run” schools in neighboring Jasper county.

The comments here and everywhere are going to be interesting if/when she is reelected. Stunned disbelief? What did you expect? Any “R.” Rigged?

McGee is a fat assed pathetic individual. I would never vote for anyone he supports.
Vote change people, vote change or suffer the same old crap year, after year.

All she does is fundraiser. Since her Election Day. Maybe she should consider working for the taxpayers. She might like it

Everyone knows old McGee just looking to land state jobs for his kids and angle his “charities” for state $$. Seems Haley doesn’t even come to Lexington unless its to take more money. Lexington people are the biggest bunch of pathetic pandering pussies in the state. Haley does nothing for them.

Fund raising trips to Pennsylvania and New York says it all. Her interests are not South Carolina’s

It is really pathetic most SC residents don’t take the time to look over a person’s voting record, character, what they believe, stand for, say and their ethical standards. Whether it be the Jaspers port debacle, refusing to comply with FOIA requests, rigging ethical investigations by manipulating/threatening members of those very bodies, lying about income tax/employment issues, misuse of state money, cover-ups and unbelievable lies about just about every topics…we could just go on and on. Her opponent (whether Dem or others) should seize upon the list of the above and the outcome and/or lack of resolution. She only appears to have glided through on these because she has an “R” behind her name. People vote blindly in this state and uninformed. I am a republican and she isn’t one at all. Consensus, doing the people’s work and honesty long since left that office she occupies and she has apparently banned it by executive order.
