National Dems Pop Haley With “Glitch” Ad

National Democrats slammed S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley (RINO-Lexington) with a new internet ad as she prepared to formally launch her 2014 reelection bid.

The ad – produced by the Democratic Governor’s Association (DGA) – hits Haley on a number of different issues, most notably her administration’s failure to protect sensitive tax information in last year’s S.C. Department of Revenue (SCDOR) hacking scandal. The ad also mocks Haley for relying on a trio of out-of-state GOP governors – Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, Rick Perry of Texas and Scott Walker of Wisconsin – as criticism-deflecting props at her kickoff event.

“With the errors, scandals, and job losses under Nikki Haley, it’s no wonder her support at home is so weak that she has to be propped up by out-of-state governors at her reelection rally,” said DGA communications director Danny Kramer. “But there’s a glitch in her plan: calling in political celebrities won’t make South Carolinians forget the economic struggles, ethics scandals, and incompetence that have defined Haley’s administration.”

Here’s the DGA spot …

(Click to play)

Haley rode into office three years ago on a Tea Party wave promising less spending and more transparency in government. However she’s turned into a big-spending, crony capitalist “Republican in Name Only” – not to mention the most opaque , hypocritical governor the Palmetto State has ever seen.

She’s also failed to make good on her promise to help elect more fiscal conservatives to the S.C. General Assembly … which is the only way South Carolina is ever going to truly change for the better.

In fact the choice between Haley and S.C. Senator Vincent Sheheen isn’t really a choice … it’s a guaranteed continuation of the same policies which continue to hold South Carolina back.

No matter who wins that race … South Carolina taxpayers, businesses and children are going to wind up losers. Again.

And yet, Sheheen is the best the Democrats can come up with to run against her? Maybe we can draft a real donkey to run.

She should go back to screwing bloggers. It appears to be what she does best.

That is one crappy production. It will take more than that to change the hearts and minds of voters.

LOL….LOL……. Shifty, you really think that Democrat and Republican voters have hearts…?? Not realizing how they BOTH got scammed out of 900 Million “love notes” going to BOEING is a clear sign that they are OUT of their Minds as voters also..!!

Really bad production indeed. Sound is unpleasant. Constantly changing visuals make me look the other way. Topics change frequently, giving the ad no focus. Ugh.

As pitiful as she is, I see no point in Democrats wasting time and money in South Carolina. Write it off as a Red state and move on.

It’s really bizarre that a lot of time and $$$ will be spent on an election that will result in
4 More Years !

While no Governor has the power to do an amazing turn-around the status quo is difficult to take.Four more years of what ?

Does anyone even get excited at all about Unsuccessful Sheheen? I didn’t think so.

Just like the stupid Democrats to completely miss the real Haley blunders that should have been outlined in their ad: Corruption, kickbacks, illegal lobbying, payoffs to political donors, Darla Moore Scandal, Lexington Hospital Scandal, Ethics Investigations & Coverups, DHEC threats & appointment of woman (and big political donor) who doesn’t even show up for job, Charleston/Savannah River Ports sell out for Big Georgia campaign contributions, Lexington County Amazon.com fight, Walmart Bribery.

Come on you Democratic Idiots: get something right. Hit Haley where she can’t run. She can easily dodge the cyber screw-up, and she had nothing to do with the TB outbreak.

No wonder you can’t win a Statewide office. You’re clueless and: “The Gang that couldn’t shoot straight.”
