Here’s Your “Immigration Reform”

This website doesn’t foam at the mouth like some “conservatives” when it comes to the issue of immigration reform. Why not? Because we know a wedge issue when we see one, people. Plus, no matter what politicians of both parties in Washington, D.C. say they’re going to do, here’s what’s…

sc house immigration

This website doesn’t foam at the mouth like some “conservatives” when it comes to the issue of immigration reform. Why not? Because we know a wedge issue when we see one, people.

Plus, no matter what politicians of both parties in Washington, D.C. say they’re going to do, here’s what’s going to happen …

1) The 12 million people who are currently living in the United States illegally aren’t going anywhere. Ever. So get used to it. And get used to paying a lot of their bills.

2) One out of every five live births in America will continue to be an “anchor baby” – a.k.a. the child of an illegal immigrant who by virtue of being born on U.S. soil is a Citizen Americanus.

3) White people will continue NOT doing many of the manually intensive jobs illegal immigrants do – but won’t stop bitching about the fact there are so many “damn aliens.”

4) No one is going to build a wall or a fence on the U.S.-Mexican border or do anything of any substance to stem the flow of illegal immigrants.

5) Despite their declining clout, labor unions will shut down any effort to create a guest worker program for legal migrant employees.

6) The only people who will wind up being penalized in this process? American business owners … who have yet another

So … when you hear U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (RINO-SC) and the rest of the “Gang of Eight” in Congress talk about “immigration reform,” you’ll know better.

They’re not reforming anything … they’re waving a white flag at a situation they lost control of decades ago.

Seriously … what the hell do you think a “pathway to citizenship” is? Beyond a glaringly obvious admission that America lacks the resources and political will to deport anybody.

The good news? At some point in the not-too-distant future we predict America will become so anti-competitive that all of us will be crashing the Canadian border.

Wait … maybe that’s not good news …

I used to think his poor writing was an offshoot of the texting phenomena. It is. Then after reading more examples of reading Folks and Lazenby pieces, we also can throw in intellectual dishonesty when researching a topic. If the facts researched to not match your premise or main statement, then it is ok to fall back to personal perceptions and bigoted feelings. I have not seen two writers whom could not stop defending their feelings when facts obviously get in the way. Kings english? Get used to pop shorthand tempered with unrestrained regurgitation of corporate media bovine sewage either from television or textbooks annealed with a drug-cultural imbued sense of self actualization and purpose.

Immigration reform was already decided in 1986. The Simpson-Mazzoli Bill was NOT enforced. When many determined this, their obvious reactions were for tighter border control, fences. To make matters worse, you have a culture of usurpers on both sides of the aisle in DC that have decided nothing is off the table when holding onto real political power created and constrained by the US Constitution, to advance their perverted agendas of corporate profits, social engineering, and eventual destruction of the Bill of Rights by not enforcing federal laws and creating legislation/laws to take away power reserved for the people.

The resultant policies and misdirected energies based on false perceptions and manipulations bring us to this debate, again.

The questions I have are, if the IA doesn’t get caught, and the so-called anchor babies are still in the US, do they get all the benefits of a US born citizen? Education, welfare, whatever? I mean, it’s likely the parents aren’t planning to go back, right? So, it does have an effect if the anchor babies stay. Disclaimer: I know absolutely nothing about immigration law, so I should get a pass.

A US citizen is a US citizen. The US citizen qualifies for Medicaid for the child’s medical bills just like any other child if the parents’ income is low enough. Parents don’t get covered, just the child.

The child qualifies for WIC; again, parents receive no benefits.
Child receives no cash/debit card, whatever. Parents receive no benefits.

Once again, Billy Folks is on the wrong side of reality, the law, and history. Like his compadres at Faux News, he just makes up shit to support his peculiar plutocratic philosophy that springs from bad novels by Ayn Rand.

The anchor baby meme is pure mythology from the knuckle-draggers. It’s a cute phrase so Billy has it on his rotating slogan recording. Of course, I haven’t checked Howie Rich’s website lately so it could be purely venal on Billy’s part. It could come from Billy’s service contract with Howie. I digress, but I do wish Billy would wipe his chin before he exposes the rest of the world to his Monica-izing of Howie.

Back to mythology, “anchor babies” are a fear-mongering racist tactic to rile up the Gran Torino base of the Repugnant Party. Somehow, inexplicably, the myth advances the theory “MEXCAN wimmin” are lining up at the border getting sexed up to cross to deliver their urchins here to obtain US citizenship for themselves.

Jose and Guadaloupe are portrayed as insidious sleeper-cell hispano versions of Ahmed, Khalid, etc., hellbent on destroying ‘merican society. Facts, nasty facts, just unfortunately bust this fact-free balloon of Billy Folks and his ilk.

Children born in the US of undocumented border crossers are not eligible to sponser their parents for citizenship until they are 21. At that point, the undocumented parents must leave the US for ten years before they are eligible to return and start the years-long process to become citizens. Somehow, I don’t think Jose and “Lupe” are screwing in Durango in 2013 plotting their US citizen application they plan on making in the year 2044.

And, of course, Billy’s statistical nonsense of “one in five babies” are subversive bean-eaters cannot be ignored. The Pew Hispanic Center for 2009, the last year I’ve seen statistics for, show 8% of the more than four million births that year had one or more undocumented parents ( which of course, means most likely a good percentage of that 8% had a citizen-parent).

That’s all I have time for at this point in time, but suffice to say, Billy’s object has been achieved to f*ck with Little Lindsay. Some might say his fascination w/LL highlights Billy’s latent gay insecurities but that’s another thread.

lol….I really enjoyed your commentary even though I don’t agree with some of it(meaning I do agree with some of it).

It is well written and funny, so kudos to you.

In my estimation these are dangerous times in the United States, which is in an increasingly fast downward economic spiral.

It is because of this that the “natives”(which is a funny irony), meaning mostly generational resident Europeans, are looking to blame specific, relatively powerless classes in a populist fashion for the failing of “our” nation.

I hate to say it because I overuse it and it’s cliche’, but it’s an accurate analogy-this is similar to the scape goating of Jews in Weimar.

Our country gives away all sorts of free shit via a cornucopia of welfare programs…which are speeding along our national bankruptcy. To suggest that Latinos are not at times the benefactors of such largese is insincere and not accurate.

That being said, who should be blamed? You can’t just blame illegals for wanting to come here and work hard while also taking advantage of these programs.

You have to blame the people putting the programs in place to start.(lots of people)

The only difference in that regard between them seeking a better life and the generational resident Europeans is that there was little aid from our illustrious gov’t at the timy many of them came over(pre FDR).

If our society didn’t have so many “give aways” bankrupting things on a state & federal level and we had a healthy economy I doubt anyone would be pissed about Jose coming here to mow their lawn for $20.

It’s all theatre of the absurd. Btw, thanks for making me look up “venal”.

I’ve personally delivered probably a hundred or more anchor babies in my medical training in rural SC—-in less than 1 year…. (And I’m not even an OBGYN)…Anchor babies are real and it’s dishonest to state otherwise. Check out some of the rural hospitals…ahem…Amick Chicken Farms…

I’ll make allowances for Carl as he is a doctor and therefore limited in his legal and governmental knowledge and most probably a Mittens voter as a 1%er.

I’ll type s l o w l y. “Anchor babies” is a wingnut term for children of illegal immigrants who deliberately have their children in the US to allow the parents to remain in the US and gain citizenship. This is a M Y T H.

Parents are removed (deported ) everyday with their US citizen children. Having a US citizen child gives one NO RIGHTS to stay here. The only legal provision that applies is the child, once he/she turns 21, can sponser their parent to immigrate legally. The parent, having entered illegally, must go home and serve out a ten year penalty before they can re-enter. Ergo, if Carl delivers a nino today, it would be the year 2044 before the parent could return here legally.

You’re welcome, Carl.

Patiently waiting to find out what it is you wanted to say about business owners. In the mean time we will continue to go down the route of Rome circa 375. It is astounding to me that our politicians are willing to sell out our future for 11,000,000 new voters.

American business owners are the reason we have the illegal problem we do. I work in construction. It’s a joke the amount of illegals used. And they are used by the same damn people who say they are conservative and preach about getting rid of them. They know these illegals work hard and cheap.

Yeah, yeah-yet another thing to blame business owners for.

Just remember that business owners spend money too, so if you are so quick to want to shut them down over using illegal immigrants you are in essence punching yourself in the face.

It’s not like that revenue is coming back to you if you manage to shut a few of them down…you can pass laws all day long to try to eliminate labor competition but it’s not going to happen fully and the black/grey market will continue to expand.

Maybe if you don’t want to make the same money as Jose from Mexico laying up drywall you should consider that you have reading skills and speak English fluently(while Jose most likely does not) and work towards building your skill set to merit more pay for a job requiring higher skills-where Jose can’t compete.

Great, so you’ve created another handle! However, remember that since your name has changed, how you write your posts can still give your actual identity away! Try structuring your sentences differently, avoid common words or phrases you are partial to using, or change the overall tone and demeanor of what you typically write. You can also try changing the accuracy of grammar and spelling, or even punctuation usage.

You really missed many points in your article. First, within the next 15 years or so Blacks and Latinos will be the majority of American citizens. Second, the GOP must implement immigration policy prior to the 2016 election as they lost 71% to 29% of Latinos in 2012; NOTE: the blacks ALWAYS vote for blacks so they are out of this scenario.

There will be major immigration changes coming in 2013, but NOT like the Failed Marxist President indicates. The only possible fact that would stop these changes is IF a “FENCE” is not included FIRST, and a physical fence, not an electronic one or drones and such.

“A glaringly obvious admission that America lacks the resources and political will to deport anybody.”

Please do some research before you write inaccuracies.

From the Washington Post:

As of July 2012, Obama deported 1.4 million illegal immigrants since the beginning of his administration — that’s 1.5 times more immigrants on average than Bush deported every month, according to official numbers from the Department of Homeland Security.

It is a complex issue fer sure…

Simply put, it is a biological fact that organsims migrate when conditions are not favorable for their hierarchy of needs (anyone remember Management 101 if you took business or management courses in college? – Mazlov’s {sp} Hierarchy of Needs collary {sp}).

It’s virtually impossible to stop biological migration..

It’s been going on since our ancestors crawled out of the primordial swamp and will go on until the big assed asteriod hits this beautiful blue planet.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the “suits” ain’t got a few deep-assed silos or a space shuttle with deep-freeze/hybernation chambers ready just in case……..

You left out that the new SC immigation law is a joke and the Dept of LLR who is responsible for enforcing it still intentionally turns it’s back on illegals.

There are at least 50 illegal mexicans working for Sears Contracting in Florence, SC at the new McLeod Hospital ICU tower. Sears Contracting is out of North Carolina. Why doesn’t LLR doing anything? Because it’s politics and corruption as usual. I know several who have called and complained (even to SLED). But not a God Damn thing is done about it.

State government is a total joke and corrupt like never before. Bobby Harrell should be singled out and persecuted, just to show that the people of SC mean business with these criminals in elected office.
