ANDERSON, SC, April 21, 2017— Businessman Richard Cash was endorsed Friday afternoon by Lt. Governor Kevin Bryant for the State Senate District 3 seat, which was previously held by Bryant.  They met at Bryant Pharmacy and Supply with media to make the announcement and answer questions.  The endorsement follows a string of endorsements Cash has received including State Representatives Jonathan Hill and Joshua Putnam, as well as previous candidates for the Senate seat: James Galyean, Dean Allen, and Corey Bott. The fiscally conservative group Club for Growth also endorsed Richard Cash earlier in the week.

“We need people in elected office who will give voice to voiceless. That voice is Richard Cash. We need someone who will fight for the defenseless. That fighter is Richard Cash,” said Lt. Governor Bryant on the reason he is back Cash. “Richard will protect your tax dollars and support small business. He will be my choice in the voting booth, and I hope that you will make the same choice on April 25.”

Richard Cash responded, “I am humbled and grateful for the Lt. Governor’s support. If elected I look forward to being a strong conservative voice in the Senate and working with Lt. Governor Bryant and the Office of Aging that is under his leadership to address the needs of our senior citizens. There’s a lot of energy and excitement with our campaign right now and we are looking forward to Tuesday.”

The Republican Primary Runoff takes place on Tuesday, April 25th.
