China, Russia Hold Naval Exercises

LOOK WHO IS ISOLATED NOW?

Here’s a news flash for U.S. President Barack Obama (and “Republican” warmongers like U.S. Sen. John McCain and Lindsey Graham): When your country is hypocritical and bankrupt – and your currency is constantly diluted to monetize your soaring debt – the world doesn’t really care what you think about anything anymore.

For instance, when you tell the country that’s about to surpass you as the largest economy in the world not to strengthen its ties with your former nemesis – what does it do? It laughs at you … and then inks one of the largest economic agreements in human history.

Not only that, the deal will likely be concluded in foreign currencies … a major step toward the removal of the U.S. dollar as the global reserve.

After inking their historic energy deal, China and Russia took their emerging partnership a step further by hosting joint naval exercises in the East China Sea.

The two countries have partnered in such exercises before, but this one comes as the United States is seeking to isolate Russia for its angry response to a U.S.-supported coup in Ukraine (which ousted a popularly elected president with close ties to Russia).

Looks like the U.S. is the country being isolated, though …

Another day, another international embarrassment for America. The nation that emerged from the Cold War as the world’s only superpower has – in the span of less than a quarter century – totally lost its global position (not to mention the ideology it once stood for).

This is what that loss looks like …

Burn In Hell Graham May 26, 2014 at 5:29 pm

I heard a radio campaign ad for Graham the other day. It had me in stitches laughing while rolling my eyes. Graham’s sister was in the radio ad, saying how Graham took care of her when the parents of the two did not. To me, it sounded so ludicrous … desperate .. unusual, to say the least. I think most normal people with keen minds will see right through his baloney. But do not put anything past the elections being rigged – voter machine tampering – electronic ballot totalization. In even event, yeah – Graham is a war monger for the military suppliers who rake in billions when our government goes around blowing up countries – killing women and children (like in Libya). He wears a mask of deception to try and hide his sick evil self. And he does, in fact, have a sickness between his ears. I am not democrat … But I tell ya what. Anybody BUT Grahamnesty …. the war acts over 30 million illegal aliens is beyond anything rational. I want him gone – and so do most of the citizens of South Carolina. And that’s a fact.

The primary isn’t far away, that will crush a lot of this wishful thinking really damn quick. I’m calling it now, there won’t even be a runoff for Graham, he’ll just win.

It’s good for the small percentage of society with a brain to see people like Graham re-elected. Then they should start to realize how evil democracy is….consider it an education for you.

Since Sic Willie and his idol Ron Paul tell us that what goes on in the rest of the world is no business of ours, why should we care?

Ha! Ha! HA! You keep expecting QE1, QE2 and bond buying to hurt the dollar. It ain’t happening. http://mobile.nytimes.com/2014/03/22/opinion/why-the-dollar-endures.html?_r=0&referrer=
America’s strength is too great for any administration or Congress to destroy.
It is Russia’s ruble, foreign reserves and markets that have been hurt. Russia and China are not allies and each are virtually without allies.
Will is easily impressed by autocratic states. They have apparently strong governments, but they are governing fundamentally fragile crony, corrupt economies.

Because of :
1) “American Exceptionalism”
2) God
3) Unicorns and faeries
4) The men, women and soon to be trannies in our military

….basic economic principles don’t apply to us.

China has a huge problem…no private industrialists/oligarchs. Economics 201 “Boom/Bust Cycle” tells us that economies expand and contract. In the US, industrialists bailed out the US in the late 1800’s. In post Soviet Union, the oligarchs (who rebuilt Gazprom etc then were pushed out…again) bailed out Russia. Russian government owned/run companies will fail eventually…again. China has neither oligarchs or private industrialists to bail them out when their economy contracts. If US citizens stop buying Chinese made goods from Walmart, Sears, Amazon, Kohls, JCP, Apple, Best Buy, their economy will contract sending them into recession/depression with no one to bail them out. Simple math really.

There’s an inflection point coming. The point at which China decides the pain of losing US customers is worth not receiving increasingly meaningless dollars.

That point might still be 10 years away, but it’s coming.

Throw into the mix that the US middle class is getting squeezed harder and decreasing it’s consumption of China shit, and the day might be much closer than we all think.

How do you have the time to post here? As brilliant as you are and with you superior knowledge of how to run countries and businesses; companies and governments must be paying you hundreds of millions of dollars to tell them what is going to happen in the future. The only thing complex about investing is knowing what will happen. You seem certain, so you should be a billionaire by now.

I own and operate several internet franchises. The rain drove me in this week. BTW, thanks for the complement. My main mission in life is to avoid hell after I die. I am a christian who ponders the mysteries of Rome not the heresies of Europe, England in particular. I have 300k in the stock market that spins off 20k in dividend quarterly payouts a year which does make me a genius since I have a long way to go for retirement. I think I can break ten million net worth by 2020. Ever since my days delivering the morning newspaper in the darkness of winter, going to school, delivering the evening news then going to football or baseball practice, I am a current events nut who reads everything.

So tell me again why we need the Keystone XL pipeline, whose primary purpose is to enable Canada to sell oil to the Communist Chinese.

“Lost its global position”, I don’t know, You’re spending more on military than 10-15 next countries together.

““The United States is responsible for 41% of the world’s total military spending. The next largest in spending are China, accounting for 8.2%; Russia, 4.1%…”
