So … we promised that we would try to make this daily “post” thing a regular feature on our website, and after dutifully (and painfully) shaking off the holiday hangover that’s exactly what we’re doing.

As always, if you’ve got a link you would like us to include in the “post,” feel free to email it to us (or submit it anonymously on our contact page) …

We’d like to give a shout out to lobbyist Lindsey Bonds and S.C. Senator Luke Rankin, who announced their engagement to friends and family over the Christmas holidays. As much as we detest Rankin’s left-of-center, party-switching politics, he happens to be one of the few genuinely nice people in the S.C. General Assembly … and we honestly can’t say enough nice things about Bonds, who in addition to being one of our founding editor’s favorite State House hotties also happens to be one of the smartest, hardest-working, most respected lobbyists in the business. Best wishes to Lindsey and congrats to Luke on their exciting news …
